The Pentech Hotshot is a very nice basic phone!
I brought my pentech hotshot two weeks ago online and i must say im very happy with it. The phone is lightweight just how i like it and it has a very responsive touch screen. I usually go for physical keyboards on a cell phone, but virtual keyboard on this phone works for me. The only thing i have a problem with is the speakerphone sometimes its not clear when volume is at medium. Overall a very nice basic phone without paying that $30.00 data plan. Love it!
I got two Pantech for my wife and I three months ago
My wife and I had the LG en3 one of the best phones I have ever had in the 15 years I have been with Verizon than the batteries stopped charging I we got new phones the pentech hotshot on the INTERNET bad choice. I got them and after 25 days the one my wife got would not ring all the time she took it to Verizon and they sent her another one about two months later mine had some problems with the touch screen not working and hers is the same problem as she had before. we have tried to get different phones but all they say is we can't change the type of phone and keep us sending them back.
this is the worst phone I have ever had and will never buy another phone from pantech. to me they are junk, no good at all I really can't say anything good about this phone. I wish I could fine a way to replace this phone but I am A disabled American Veteran and I am on a limited budget
Awful Phone
Really awful phone. Texting is extremely difficult and it is very cheaply made. I would not recommend this phone.

Pros - phone feels nice in your hand ,has enough variables for controlling volume for ringtones (could use more ) and ear piece, touch pad not too bad even with screen protector on it the only con is the battery if you make a half dozen calls of any length it will start dropping bars quickly ,albeit it recharges fairly quick, there are some sharp looking cases available and I like it because it has the appearance of a smart phone without the data plan any my wife loves it she has had palm pda phones for the last 4 years and finally liked this enough to change
crap phone
this phone is a piece of crap. I hadn't even done an esn swap and it powered off 3 times. froze up quite a bit just playing with it. I sent it back the next day. Don't advice getting this one.
