Samsung Gravity TXT
Crap Phone
For being a phone that is centered around text messaging, it does not do that very well.
Generally, this phone has potential, but the engineers stopped about half way through the development process, leaving many features poorly implemented of janky to use.
I do not recommend this phone to anyone unless you are going to send one text message a week and just want a phone with a super long battery life and no touch screen.
Pros:
10-key front key pad
super awesome battery life (several days)
Cons:
-super small qwerty keys
-poorly implemented menu/config options.
-does not have the option to auto delete text messages
-when deleting text messages it asks if you would like to delete locked messages and the default is yes, this added with weird verbiage around the process means that you will delete locked messages often.
-poor picture quality on camera
-not able to select a point in a song to start playing from
-picture messages are displayed with a page duration that can no be set to 0 (therefore all picture messages become a labyrinth to navigate out of)
-"Recent Contacts" does not list recently sent contacts when sending a message
-can not disable T9 by default
-alarm clock will disable for the day if you touch the directional swipe pad. Not snooze, disable.
