Samsung Galaxy Appeal
Samsung A-827
Very good basic android device.
Pros: User friendly interface. Great call quality. Dual touch-screen/QWERTY.
Cons: Poor battery life even though there is an option to dim the screen and turn off all running apps manually.
Perfect Android choice for those looking for keyboard
I personally am a high end Android SG3 phone user. Ive wanted to get my wife away from Blackberry and over to Android with me but she wont part away from the physical keyboard. The Samsung glide didn't appeal to me so When this Phone became available for her I jumped at it!
Pros
It does all things and it does them fairly well. IT wont be for the power user like most people that chase the latest greatest device but It will do what you need it to. It comes with a touch screen and a physical keyboard running Android Gingerbread 2.3. There is an 800 mhz processor which isn't the fastest but you will get better battery life because of it.
I basically put my wifes sim card in and went on about our cellular business. Set up was a breeze. Logged into her Google account, accepted all terms of Googles usage and then allowed it to look for any apps and Updates that we wanted.
Cons We haven't come across any yet.
She has had it for a couple of days so far and has had no problems yet.
