Not bad for a free phone
This is a bare bones feature phone. The version I have has T-Mobile software, but I can't comment on T-Mobile specific features because it's on the PTel (formerly PlatinumTel) MVNO network.
PTel gave me this phone to replace my old CDMA phone. The call quality is very good and volume is better than average. The construction is a bit flimsy and popping off the back cover to access the battery, GSM and Micro-SD cards is not easy. The 128 x 160 display goes completely black when not in use. The low resolution makes the menu system difficult to use and many expected options are missing. Since the phone hangs up when closed the 128 x 16 external display is only useful for screening incoming calls. The clock is just a two line time/date on the home screen, it's only option is 12/24 hours. The "eZi" text input is a bad copy of T9 which makes messaging a painful task. It has an FM radio that only works when a wired headset is plugged in. The only external button is for the 2mp camera which has no flash. There is no voice recognition and the internal speaker is so quiet ringers are easy to miss and it's useless for hands-free use. Internet access is minimal (no YouTube) and despite the manual recommending adding Opera Mini, Opera does not have a version for this phone and it cannot be installed. WAP and Java are included but I could find no way to access them. I did not test the Bluetooth.
If you do not expect more than the ability to make a phone call from this phone then it will serve it's function.
