The Lumia 810 is a solid mid-range Windows Phone for T-Mobile USA. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in functionality and performance. read review ›

delightful!
First of, This is a great phone if you are considering moving from android or ios. You will find most (but not all) of the apps that you used to use on a daily basis.
I switched from an android that i had rooted and done all sorts of crazy things. But personally i just wanted something new and this phone is certainly new and different. And within a day or two i was using this new phone with almost utility as my earlier ultra customised android device.
The Good:
UI is slick and smooth. Call quality is very nice in speaker phone as well as normal mode. Fast internet. Internet sharing works seamlessly, and you can connect upto 8 devices. I am easily streaming videos, music as well as using skype video chat with great results.
Camera is great. even in low lights i got some decent pictures. The front camera, which you might need to use when using skype on the phone works, well only if you have good lighting. Otherwise it is just passable.
Freebies:
Nokia music is awesome, you can stream all you want without any ads. Nokia drive also works very nicely indeed. I haven't tried some other apps. But all in all Nokia has done a pretty good job with the software that ships with the device.
The Not so good:
Sometimes the lock screen button becomes unresponsive. (the screen does not go off at all), Hopefully this will get fixed solved soon. I also miss the button on the soft keyboard to hide the keyboard. In order to hide the keyboard i have to tap somewhere on the screen.
All in all a solid phone, not perfect in all regards, but delightful and perfectly usable,
Wow
What an amazing phone. I have been working with cell phones and wireless technology for over ten years now, and all I have to say is WOW about the Nokia 810.
PROS:
-SIZE-I have a football player build and this phone fits in my hands perfectly. Now, if I were little, I would have to rethink this phone purchase.
-OS-Windows 8...lightning fast. Very responsive and absolutely no lag on this phone. Android is pretty and very easily customized, but I'm done doing all that. Windows limits, severely, the amount of customization to the user.
-SCREEN SIZE- in ratio to the size of the phone itself is awesome...hardly any wasted space on the phone.
CONS:
-SPEAKER-don't get me wrong, the sound quality is awesome...I just don't like the location of it. My finger covers the external speaker when I use the phone one handed. But, that is unique to my use, not yours.
OVERALL:
AMAZING phone. Welcome to 2012 Nokia. Keep 'em coming.
Very Impressive
First and foremost, I'm very picky when it comes to phones. I've been working in wireless for over 7yrs and am very critical. With that said. I'm very impressed. Even with the lower resolution, the screen just looks outstanding. Camera takes some very nice shots and movies look great. Its comfortable for one handed operation and battery life is good enough to get you through the day unless you never put the phone down. Its not the "thinnest" or "prettiest" device out there, but its performance more than makes up for the looks. I would highly recommend this device.
