Terrible camera, but maybe OK for free?
We ended up with this free from T-Mobile because of their reallocation of HSPA+ and LTE frequencies in the Chicagoland area, which left my wife's old phone no longer able to use data. I was offered this or the LG Leon, and I chose wrong by taking this one for short-term use while waiting on the new Moto phones to be available (my wife was waiting on delivery of a Moto E already) after my old S4 developed... issues... following a moisture incident.
CON: The surprise really bad feature of this phone is the camera. It's bad enough that it's not able to scan barcodes because the image is so blurry.
The other unexpected CON is that the screen is actually pretty difficult to read in sunlight, including in comparison to other phones.
CONs that can somewhat be worked around:
The very limited storage annoys - I've moved all movable apps to SD, and I still sometimes have to clear caches to install updates. Maybe I should use fewer apps, but I've already streamlined what I install. You will absolutely have to have an SD card for any kind of storage.
The Notification and settings area controls for Wifi, power saving, etc. are on a second page, so if you depend on having those then you'll need either a widget or a full-time notification area app for convenient access.
PROs the phone seems reasonably snappy, and battery life has been acceptable. Reception has been fine, GPS has been fine, etc. There are no standout "I love this" features, but except as noted above the phone hasn't been a disappointment.
I don't recall any real issues with the normal Home screen, but I put ADW on within a day after receiving it.
