Nokia 6610i
6610i
It's a good phone or it was a good phone until newer models from different companies came out with bluetooth, mp3 player, and an expansion slots. These are the major cons about 6610i. If you just want to own a nokia and don't care about the futures I just mentioned (kinda like, I just need a good phone with a camera, that's it) then, I would recommend this phone. Otherwise, not.
Excellent Phone; Highly Recommended
I've owned a Nokia 8260 and 8265 and the Samsung S200 and E105. From my experience, Nokia phones tend to have the best reception. A lot of people blame the cell phone service but much of the time it's their phones. I bought the 6610 in the age when all the new phones have cameras and bluetooth but all I want is good reception. I'm not willing to sacrifice that for the fancy crap. I'd rather buy a cheaper phone and buy a seperate digital camera which I did. In general, I think Sony phones have the worst reception. Samsung and Motorola phones tend to be about average. Ask people who have T-mobile, Cingular, Verizon, etc. in your area to find which is best.
PROs: FM radio, excellent reception, speakerphone, color screen, changeable faceplate, size, light, good ringtones and vibration, battery life (I average over 3000 minutes a month and charge my phone every other day). I had to recharge my past phones almost daily.
CONs: features, not bluetooth, can only buy on ebay nowadays
