Mitsubishi M900 / M430i
Its ok
I just got this phone today. First thing anyone will notice is the size of the phone. It looks like a monster. Its really not that big, it just looks huge, especially next to my samsung E315. THe phone has two very large screens that are very decent quality. The main screen isn't as nice as the screen on the GX32, but its better than other phones. The keypad has a nice feel to it and the flip has a slight click when it opens and closes. The main problem I have with the keypad is that the center key launches the camera instead of the menu. Its kinda frustrating coming from phones that always launch the menu from that key.
The camera on the phone is nice. When the flip is open, you can only take self shots. You have to have the flip closed to take regular pictures of things. Photo quality is ok. You'll have to resize the images to make them look really good. The phone does have tons of options like the S700i when it comes to the camera, which is nice.
Rf seems pretty good. Its not as good as my Nokia 6230, but it beats my samsung e315. Incoming call quality is good, I haven't tested outgoing. The ringtones that come with the phone are LOUD. It too bad that the mp3's don't play as loud when used for ringtones. The internal speaker lacks any ability to reproduce bass and sounds kinda tinny. When used with headphones, the sound is great and it gets very loud. I can set the included earbuds on my desk and hear the music fine.
The phone came with a minisd card, that was blank. It too hard to insert and remove it. You have to have nails or else it takes a good deal of effort to get the card out. With a phone this size, regular mmc cards should have been used.
Pros:
Camera
Screen
Rf
Incoming sound quality
Mp3 player quality
Being able to watch videos on the external screen
Cons:
Size
Volume of mp3 tones
Quality of internal loudspeaker
No bluetooth
Keypad takes some getting used to
I live in Chicago, Illinois and I'm using the phone on Tmobile (1900 Mhz)
