Samsung a620 stuck on headset mode.
I plugged in a headset to see how good it worked. I didnt really like it so i took it out. I didnt notice till later that i couldnt hear ppl when i called them nor could they hear me. I pressed the volume keys and it said HEADSET volume 8. The key tones were also disabled. It said PRIV. Key 8. Is there anyway to fix this? Also if i cant would the a680 be a nice phone?

Ouch... Coming from a technician point of view, the a620 is horrible. The 680 is a newer generation phone and much nicer (plus video feature). The 620's replacement, the 740, is a good choice as well. Unfortunately I see phones stuck in headset mode (mostly Nokia's) and nothing can be done. Try the obvious things like taking the battery off and back on, putting the headset back in and out a few times or simply use a headset until you can upgrade.
