there is no set time frame. the deposit is soleybaised upon your credit rateing. you can be a customer for 50 years and still have to pay a deposit for the second line or you can be a new customer and be approved for upto 10 lines. it is all baised on your credit.

sprint however refreshes your credit rateing once a year. if your credit improves and qualifies they will change how many lines you are approved for.

some key points to rember. bad credit (latepayments and defaulting on a debt) takes atleast 3 years to be removed from your credit rateing and bankrupsy takes 7 years. does not look at your income sprint does not care about your debt load sprint cares soly about how many defalts and latepayments show up on your credit. also whe...

Per the Federal Trade Commission and Credit Reporting Agencies derogatory information on your credit report may remain there for 7 years, not just 3. Bankruptcies may remain on your credit report for 10 years, not just 7.

Ok, what if someone has 2 lines and wants/needs a third line? Can they pay an additional deposit and get a third line. I have lots of customers who fall into that category. Either they were approved for 2 lines with either 1 with no deposit and 1 witha deposit, both needing a deposit, or neither needing a deposit. I actually fall into this category my self.

Thanks for any info.

that all depends on the credit class. some creit classes are only eligable for 2 lines. other credit classes are eligable for a tghird line with a deposit. some are eligable for three lines no deposit. some are eligabloe for 5 lines, some 6 lines and some 10 lines.

best thing to do is to call in to customer care and ask. believe me the number one thing the rep wants to do is sell you a new line. if it is at all possable they will get you one.
