AT&T continues its march on SDC: NextMail-like apps
Today AT&T announced "pdvConnect" with a suite of features & capabilities that sound just like Nextel's NextMail offerings. I'm guessing since AT&T calls it "pdvConnect" that they have also contracted with Pacific Data Vision ("PDV") to provide these same services for AT&T users.

I purchased a Kyocera Dura XT last November. I can say mine does work in 1X and roaming areas, but takes about three seconds to initially connect.
I haven't tried any PTT solutions lately from the other guys. I remember back in 2010, we tried Verizon's original PTT. It was horridly slow.
About two weeks ago, another software update was downloaded onto my phone. Since then, I've gone that length of time without having to reboot. I think they're getting closer.
