Sprint GSM Service
Has anyone tried the Sprint GSM service? I saw the GSM and PDC phones. I was wondering if I can use any GSM phones that are available on the public market.
Before you tell me that Sprint doesn't have GSM, they do have GSM. In fact they also sell GSM phones as well.

I doubt Sprint has any roaming agreements in place that would allow that, but it would be interesting to hear otherwise.
Of course, you'd first need a world phone, and most of the GSM phones Sprint is selling are not world phones - they will only work overseas because of the frequencies supported.
Even if you could use your Sprint GSM phone here, I believe you'd be charged "international" roaming rates, since that's the nature of Sprint's GSM roaming agreements.

If you call customer care, there is a Dedicated International Roaming Team. Cust care should be able to get you this number. They can answer all these questions. If you cant get it, let me know and will get for you.
