Every time I send/receive a call, it gets saved into favorites. I want it to stop.

Have done a master reset. Had a CLNR and it even does it in safe mode.

Is it possibly for VZW to have better 4G coverage than 3G coverage in some areas, or could it just be the phone?

My iPhone 4S shows 3 bars and everything works for awhile. Then it goes into searching for service, then no service. I had to reset my network settings and it still took a bit to get back to 3 bars of service.

My buddies Samsung Charge drops from 4G to 3G and stays on 3 bars of 3G.

And then I recently had a RAZR MAXX in this same semi dead spot. And it held onto 3 bars of 4G and data was great.

So I'm wondering if it's just the different radios in the differant phones. Or if 4G coverage is better than 3G in this area? 😕

I am now torn between this phone of the Samsung Galaxy S III...I am sure alot of you out there are going to suggest the Samsung but maybe not?

I am looking at possibly switching over from Sprint. The cost for 4 phones on Sprint and 1 is epic 3 rumor touch and I spend 176 bucks a month. If I upgrade the 3 rumor touch to smart phone another 30 bucks. I am at 205 plus tax. To get 4 smart phones on V with 4 gigs is close to Sprint and TMO ?? unless I am missin somethin? They all 3 seem to have about same price? What is the BEST battery smartphone for V ? I want the GS3 the other 3 can be free phones but best battery! 😕

I'm eligible for my upgrade on June 30th and I just found out that any upgrade after June 8th looses unlimited data.

I stopped by my local Verizon store today to see about pre-ordering a Galaxy S3 (which I can't because you can't preorder before your upgrade date, even though the phone wouldn't be here until after my date). 🙄

The manager told me that although I will loose my unlimited data, I will be able to get a "Data Share Plan" that will include unlimited text & talk, and also free use of hot spot. He said the pricing will be tiered according to how much data I pick to share, so I have no idea yet if it's going to cost me more or not. For those of you who know, was I given accurate information?

Looking pretty crappy imo. ATT gets the Note, then it gets upgraded, now it's getting 'refreshed' into a larger size; we get ummmm a new BB Curve, wth.

ATT gets the One X (many blogs are calling it the best Android so far this year), now their getting a succesor already, we get what, a 'refreshed' Incredible? Love my DINC1 but this just doesn't fly imo.

ATT gets Gawd knows how many Win phones; the Titan is already old news (it's beautiful) and the Nokia's, wow, their amazing as well; we got what, that poor old Trophy?

The Galaxy SIII? Everyone has that. There isn't much to look at in Vz's store anymore. I'm getting tired of paying high prices for a second rate line-up. And now they want to 'edit' my internet searches?? What...

My wife and I currently have a two line family plan. Her line is eligible for an upgrade at the moment and mine is not. She uses a flip phone and couldn't care less, while I have a smartphone and am considering the Galaxy S III. I see an option to transfer her upgrade discount to my line. Will transferring the discount impact our plan? Is there a charge involved? Any advice will be appreciated.

Just got my shipping notification. My GS3 is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday the 11th! *Happy Dance* 😁

Time to upgrade my 2+ yr old incredible, especially since the screen is cracked! Want to stay on verizon and with andriod, so is there anything besides the Galaxy S3 to consider? Don't want a keyboard, and think I'll like the larger screen. If the Razr Maxx was the same price, I guess I'd think about it, but can't see spending $100 more...

I just spoke with customer service to inquire into the new share everything plan. While I was speaking with them I wanted to cofirm my insurance on my two iphones. Customer service told me that my inurance dropped off 6 months ago, reason because I did an ESN swap, which I swapped to a Fascinate as wanted to see something, was told that ESN swap auomatically drops insurance. Does that sound correct? So if I had to file a claim it would not be covered. Sounds dishonest to me.

So...I'm reading that article on Yahoo about Android bots and in the comments was some guy who mentions he gets spam from his own email address and I think wtf so do I occasionally. All my computers and tablets have AV installed and run routinely but my phone doesn't so I assume I've got some kind of infection. Any advice on what to use/do about this? Appreciate any advice.

I have an unlimited data plan on my BlackBerry. When I upgrade, if I don't want one of Verizon's "share everything" plans, is there any individual plan still available that is priced based upon the amount of data used?I don't see such a plan on Verizon's website. I understand that in theory I can keep my unlimited data plan if I forgo a discounted new phone, but this makes no sense for me.

I also note from Verizon's website that they have an unlimited prepaid talk, text and web plan for $50 per month. Something must be missing from this plan or else why wouldn't people want it over the "share everything" plan?

Verizon's website is as clear as mud.

I know you told me the scheduled ship day for my Samsung GS3 is July 11th, but please feel free to send it out sooner if you like. It won't upset me at all.

We will be on vacation in Puerto Rico very soon, and I was curious about VZW service while on the island. I called customer service and they basically said that we can use our phones exactly as if we were home (PR is a U.S. territory). She said there would be no roaming or international charges. Of course all of this depends on if we actually can get a signal.

Can anyone here verify that I was given good information? I really don't want any nasty surprises!

So what do I do...I returned two phones, via mail..One was sent in error and the other one was the defective phone. They were both sent in the same package.The warehouse only checked one in. Now Im being billed for the second phone. Verizon is giving me the run around. Every day when I call, the story changes...Who needs to be contacted for this. I get managers, customer relation for escalated calls, and who ever..no one seems to know the way to fix this. tell me what I need to do.

Buy a 4g phone fr full price and transfer it to my line without giving up my unlimited data? I would do this in 2 months.

I did it. I switched my line from my Tour to the Rezound I've had laying around since April. So far...so good. I added the Mobile Hotspot feature and I can actually talk on the phone simultaneously. Amazing! Well...I've been carrying two phones around so that I would have one strictly for data access for years. It looks as though the end is near. This will knock twenty dollars off my three hundred a month bill. Yay!

I am on a family plan grandfathered in from Alltel. My father's the signee on the plan and I have been trying to get him to agree to move to a data plan so I can get a smart phone. I mean I have the /original/ Razr, for crying out loud.

Today I went to Best buy and explored some options. Our last contract will be out in November and the representative at Best Buy strongly encouraged us to wait til then to make a decision, as, she said, Verizon has announced plans to unveil a new type of plan this summer, one that will 'revolutionize family plans/data plans'

She also recommended this website as a great place to research phones when we're ready to commit. I thought perhaps it would be a good place to ask if anyone knew what this 'revolut...
