I am a TMobile customer anxiously awaiting the drop this month of the BlackBerry 9780. Can anyone talk to me about the use of Opera on a BlackBerry with this carrier?

In searching the threads in the TMobile forum came up with discussion of use of Opera on a Razr but I don't think that would translate to how it would behave on a BlackBerry.

We are contractors that work in Alaska, all of Canada and the lower 48.

With Verizon we had 2 lines (shared plan) plus the broadband (Mifi)

We had been with Verizon for about 10 yrs, they pulled a really boner so are very fired.

I signed up with T-Mobile (have a G2 and a Cliq, plus Rocket stick on the way).

Am VERY nervous about cell and broadband coverage.

Does anyone in the forum have any insight as to what we may expected to get for coverage for voice and data? Does T-Mobile have a good partnership with the other tower owners?

So the G2 is basically the HTC Desire Z sold in Europe.

Does anyone know how much of the original Desire Z software is on the G2? does it still have HTC Sense?

If I got my G2 on oct. 5th and the MT4G come out on nov. 3rd, can i exchang the G2 for the MT4G? im on the evenmore plus plan- no contract

I was wondering if tmo was having any new exciting plans in the works for the holiday season. My hope is they com up with a competing plan for sprints everything data plus anymobile anytime for for 69.99. That is a sweet deal. Right now I am on a 1000 min smart phone plan for 89.99. It would be nice to get a better deal. However, tmobile service is way better than sprint. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks everyone.

So has anyone heard anything about the new MyTouch that T-Mo announced on the 4th?? Its Supposed to be hear sometime before the holiday season. Supposed to have a 5 mp front facing camera which would be sick. 3.8 inch wvga screen android 2.2 and HSPA+ device. Im excited about it!!

Does anyone know why T-Mobile will not sell a prepaid SIM card to a foreigner visiting the United States that will include data? I know that cellphone providers in other countries do this and I've been told by one AT&T rep (although contradicted by another) that AT&T will.

When roaming in the US is there additional roaming charges?

Potential future customer here from at&t. I see you guys will be rolling out a $9.99 data plan with 200 MB of data...IS THIS SOLEY FOR FEATURE PHONES, OR IS THIS ALSO FOR SMARTPHONES. Hoping this is similiar to at&t's $15 200 MB option for smart phones.

So, I knew this day would eventually come...VZW is just becoming too expensive for the little features they offer with their plans, and now that they will be tethering their data plans and doing away with Unlimited, i'm done with them. I know a few people with T-Mo and they have no problems with it. So i guess my question is, how many have you left VZW for T-Mo? And are you happy with T-Mo? I'm gonna get the Nokia E73 Mode, which also lets you connect a call through wi-fi if there isn't much network reception around, which i think is a great idea.

i tried T-Mo twice before but didn't have much reception where i lived...I've recently moved so now the reception in my home area is pretty strong. That's why i'm hoping 3rd time is the charm :...

How does dual flash work on phone such as does it gives a bright light and help take good pics in the dark? I'm lost about the purpose of it.

Okay, I am almost done with my ATT contract (the blood has dried and my fingers have grown back so I know I'm almost out of it). I have had bad service from them - no calls connecting when have full bars of 3G+ showing on my Impression, etc. Texts not going through with full service... on and on. Will TMO be any better since they are both GSM networks? At least TMO is cheaper...thanks...

Warning!!! to all people considering Tmobile. Tmobile will punish you if you call into the call center to many times. I had issues with my account and had billing issues, upgrade issues and noticed in the past 3 months my calls being routed out of the USA to a foreign call center which has a long wait time.

Spoke to some friendly Tmobile Reps that only prepaid gets routed overseas, after hearing this come from reps mouth twice I call Executive Relations they confirmed:

If a customer calls Tmobile Customer Service the account is flagged to be transferred to a special call center (she put it), so if anyone notices their account being transferred overseas or long hold time this is the reason.

My verizon contract is up and im goin to tmobile, my question is can i activate my g1 now and when the new g2 comes out in october can i get it at the new 2 year price?

I got a pricing question and I am too lazy to call customer service.

So, looking at the family plan with unlimited minutes and text. Without a contract it will cost 99.99 a month. What do I do if I just want to add one smartphone to that plan.

How would the data cost work? I can't seem to find anywhere on the T-Mobile website indicating that.
