Any handsets with faster data than 14.2 Mbps?

T-Mo is rapidly deploying 21 and 42 Mbps WCDMA towers, but no handsets seem to be on horizon to actually take advantage of those speeds. Are the higher speeds meant for T-Mo Hotspots only? It would be nice to hear a clear statement on that from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile Commercials

Am I the only one who feels sickened by the T-Mobile commercials knowing that they have sold out to AT&T?

T-Mobile UK has the iPhone?!?

I was just browsing on
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk »

and to my shock and awe they carry the iPhone.
Why does T-Mobile UK get that and T-Mobile USA does not? I would think that would be a really hot seller.

I know up until recently AT&T had the iPhone exclusively but now that exclusivity is over, right?

Check it out:

Any handset with NFC chip in T-Mobile's future?

What ever happened to the buzz around the NFC chip since Nexus S came out with it last year? I don't see that chip in any of the newly announced T-Mo phones coming out in the next few months.

galaxy s2 release date?

Any news on a release date for this phone in the US? I was in a T-mobile store yesterday and the guy told me at the end of April, but I can't find anything to confirm that and he seemed unsure.

I oppoose the merger...but if it turns inevitable check this out!

I don't want it to happen at all, but if it does & these "concessions" are required of at&t they just may be forced to keep rate plans & such. See link!

Another take on why ATT buyout should be blocked.

AT&T is terrible at managing their network compared to T-Mobile. And the service and support has only really begun improving late last year. It will take quite a lot of time for AT&T to catch up in terms of overall quality to the levels expected by T-Mobile customers. And AT&T will crush T-Mobile’s open culture after the acquisition is complete, in favor of AT&T’s monopolistic conservative culture.

AT&T also doesn’t really get open networks and open solutions. Their Android devices are locked down, with sideloading blocked. They are the only carrier in the world that does that, by the way. AT&T prefers nickel-and-diming customers instead of making them happy enough to continue staying with AT&T, which is why t

Need help selecting new phone for upgrade

Greetings everyone,

I am up fit my upgrade and am unsure about which handset I want to purchase. I am a but sceptical about the windows phone 7 operating system, but I am not married to android by any means. I am very huge on web browsing, social networking and customization. I went from the sidekick 08, to the G1, to the Cliq Xt(not by choice). Any suggestions, price is not a factor.

With gratitude

And this is why the buy out will succeed.

AT&T said that as part of the purchase it would expand the rollout of its high-speed wireless technology, helping achieve the U.S. Federal Communications Commission goal of making broadband available more widely.

Which it will.

Good to see...

...T-Mobile still running the business as though there is no merger in the works. The Iphone commercials are still fun and they are still rolling out '4G'. Hopefully the merger will be nixed and they will cash that three billion dollar check from AT&T AND gain the benefits of that sweet roaming agreement.

Is T-Mobile playing some kind of April Fool's joke?

So last night I'm doing my thing, downloading some music on my PC via my phone's data connection, which I've done for well over a year now, not that I do it very often, just sometimes there are things I can do by 'tethering' on my PC that I can't do on my phone due to it's limitations (ie. cannot upload photos via the phones' browser).

So with only 20 seconds on one of my downloads left to go, and it freezes up..

I restart my browser, and I get a message that says I need to pay another $14.99 on my bill if I want to tether!

I'm ok with them if they 'throttle' me down if I download too much, as it's only like once a week or two I actually do tether, most of the time I download thru my phone, but a flat $15 I think is a bit steep if I...

Angry T-Mobile customer looking for advice/resolution

👿

As a former employee of t-mobile I know a lot of employees frequent this forum so I am looking for insight or input. I have a unique situation that t-mobile does not seem to want to resolve.

Issue:

I purchased a blackberry phone for the first time several years ago, the blackberry 8220. When I purchased the phone I added the data, which I was told and it did...support tethering...I used it and was very pleased with the service and convenience of using my blackberry as a modem.

My phone like everything else wore out over time so I went in to get a new phone (June 2010)...when I arrived at the store I told the rep I needed a new phone and we went over the options. At this time I wanted a windows based phone but was told it...
