(sighs) Motorola V600 or Panasonic X70?

I recently ported to T-Mobile...

I am wondering if T-Zones will work on an unlocked Motorola V600 (coming to AT&T Feb. 6th) or Panasonic X70? Does anyone have any experiences with unlocked phones being able to work with T-Zones?

I am trying to decide whether I should get the Motorola V600 (if it ever released by TM since Cingular and AT&T will be releasing it) or the Panasonic X70.

Suggestions and opinions are welcomed!!

Problems with t300

I have looked at the user reviews for the t300 and was wondering how many people who are still phonescoop useres have had any probs...

Specifically I am having to wait a long time to connect. And often times it does not even connect then and I have to re-dial 3, 4 or 5 times.

I live in kansas City, MO so I know that the TMobile service is spotty at best in some area but there is a tower not too far from my house and it still seems lacking.

Thanks,

Larry ๐Ÿ™‚

porting & t mobile vs. at&t wireless

I live in the Salt Lake City Metro area. I recently switched from a tdma at&t phone to a gsm at&t phone. I love AT&T for their "cool" phones and their data network but I don't get a good enough signal where I live, on the new gsm phone, for it to be worth keeping. I am thinking of porting to T-mobile. Does anyone know how t-mobile data (speeds, content, structure) compares to AT&T Wireless? There 19.99 unlimited Internet plan looks great. I sure like their 3000 Whenever minute voice plan. Does anyone know when AT&T gsm will have the signal strength that t-mobile gsm currently has?

Porting. I know that if your are still under contract with a carrier that you are required to pay an early termination fee to the carrier you are leavi...

SCAM

MAJOR SCAM:
Don't respond to Emails, phone calls, or web pages which tell you to call
an "809" area Phone Number.

This is a very important issue of Scam Busters because it alerts you to a
scam that is spreading *extremely* quickly, can easily cost you $2400 or
more, and is difficult to avoid unless you are aware of it.

We'd like to thank Verizon for bringing this scam to our attention.

This scam has also been identified by the National Fraud Information
Center and is costing victims a lots of money.

There are lot of different permutations of this scam.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

You will receive a message on your answering machine or your pager, which
asks you to call a number beginning with area cod...

T-Mobile Easy Speak Questions

Hello everyone,

I am getting ready to drop my Sprint PCS service and go with prepaid simply because I don't use my phone as much as I used to, and I want a reliable network. I have been researching prepaid options like Tracfone and Verizon, and was wondering if T-Mobile would be a good option to use.

How is T-Mobile's coverage (I live in northern Indiana)? How is their customer service? Are the rates comparable to the other prepaid carriers out there?

Thanks,
Eric

Does anyone know how t-mobile data (speeds, content, structure) compares to AT&T Wireless? There 19.99 unlimited Internet plan looks great. AT&T charges like $79.99 for an unlimited data plan. From what I've heard and those price difference it sure seems like tmobile data is inferior.

T mobile has t-zones and t mobile internet and AT&T has mmode and AT&T wireless internet. Mmode is really the same as the Internet just bundled in smaller packages. What about t-zones vs. t mobile internet.

What I want to do is link a bluetooth t-mobile phone up to my bluetooth palm pda and be able to access html sites. I can do this with my current AT&T wireless bluetooth phone and html sites. I am doing this with mMode but could also do it with AT&T wi...

Will T-mobile 1000 anytime + n/w for 39.99 come back

do anyone thinks t-mobile will come back with the 1000 anytime plus nights and weekends again. I have tried some other carrier but I have t-mobile 1000 n/w for my daughter and verizon 700 for myself that cost more than my daughter. I want to switch the second line but I'm hopping t-mobile will bring back that 1000 + n/w for 39.99 again.

TMobile International Support Phones

I have the Samsung E715 phone. I notice on the TMobile site (http://www.t-mobile.com/products/worldclass. asp) that it isn't listed as one of the international phones, even though it is. Is this an oversite or can I not use this phone overseas?

Also, I notice the phone page says I can download games, yet when I've tried I'm told that my phone doesn't support it. Are there no games available for this phone or does it in fact not support it?

Thanks.

TM and EDGE

ATTWS is offering EDGE, Verizon is offering 1xEV-DO, Sprint is offering cdma2000. So what's TM's plan for higher data rates on their cellular net? GPRS is fine for Blackberry type stuff but on a laptop no way. Just back from Europe where colleagues had EGDE cards in their Laptops and it rocks!
