Keeping number with new phone.

I have found a deal on the Motorola's v300 at cellularchoices.net where I can sign up for the T-Mobile family plan and get 3 of the v300 phones for free after rebates. They say that since I am currently with T-Mobile, (out of contract), that the only way to keep my currant numbers (2) would be to wait until I have the new service and contact T-Mobile to have the numbers switched. Then terminate the old service. Can anyone tell me if this is correct, or will I not be able to keep the numbers by going thru cellularchoices.net. Thanks

T-Zones

I have T-Zone service, after using the service for sometime it seems to me that it provides less information than when compared to say Att's Mmode. Just to use an example, with Mmode you get to view a weather radar, not so at T-Zones. Why? 🙄

Service quality in Williamsburg and Hampton Road, VA

Hi, I'm wondering about the service quality in these areas of VA cause it is my hometown area. I will most likely get my service in my collegetown, which is which well-covered by t-mobile and all the other carriers. But when I look at the SE VA map, it looks somewhat empty outside of the major highways. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks 😁

Siemens SX1

Does anyone know when the Siemens SX1 will be coming to the USA? Has anyone heard of a price level? Will it be offered by T-Mobile and ATT?

buying a phone online?

I'm thinking of buying a phone online from an authorized dealer and not through Tmobile's website. I was wondering if anybody had any positive/negative experiences purchasing a phone/plan this way. And do Tmobile stores take back phones bought this way or service them?

Thanks.

I've heard some news that the Motorola v600 would be out for T-Mobile in either the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2004. Is there any truth to this news??

Hi, I'm thinking of switching to T-Mobile, but I'm wondering when the Sony Ericsson T630 is coming? Anyone know? Also, is T-Mobile going to be getting any other Sony Ericsson phones soon? Thanks.

How is their CS and coverage in MS??

I'm in the process of choosing a new wireless provider. Currently I have Cingular as my provider (my contract is fulfilled), but I frustrated with both their poor choice of phones and their CS. I know that AT&TW (...gawd their CS has redefined the word "appalling") and T-Mobile are the only two players in my state that have GSM at this time, so it's not much of a choice. Cingular keeps promising to bring GSM to my area, but I'm tired of their procrastinating.

So to those out there, how is their CS and coverage in MS, and what plan would you recommend? I'm going to make nearly all of my calls in the Jackson area. I make very few calls day or night (at most 500 minutes a month), but I don't feel like paying $40 for minutes that I reall...
