Why I Won't Buy an iPhone...
I am willing to admit the iPhone HAS INDEED changed the way we think about phones, and I think it also has set a new bar for quality in a phone. So I'm not going to sit here and say 'I'm not buying it because its only EDGE or because it doesn't have a physical keyboard.' Fact is it has been designed so well that it needs neither.
Think about it... most users say that its not much slower than an EVDO phone when browsing the web. That's called PROCESSING POWER people. Its proving that there is a LOT of room for improvement in the Windows Mobile, Blackberry and yes EVEN THE PALM os...

Most reps here have given up and just send to tech. Have tried to be patient and yet am only getting at best 1 in 3 to go through the activation process.
This is burning up the call handling time.
Is getting to be worse than the 8350i issues we are getting all the time.

Android phones with 640x960 screens?
I am trying to decide if I want to drop money on an Evo or a Galaxy phone now or hold off for a bit until newer, cooler stuff comes out.
Mainly, I was wondering if any models will be coming out with similar dimensions, but higher res screens (e.g., 640x960). Yes, there are iphones, but I refuse to buy those for religious reasons 🙂. Any news from manufacturers as to when such a high-res android phone would be on the market?
Also, since phone size is one of my bigger concerns, I was thinking of holding off until stores are stocking some of the folding display techs that are emerging:

Unlocking question.
I have a Nokia 6030b with T-Mobile. I always unlock my nokia phones when I get them using codes from nokiafree.org.
Well when I got my Nokia 6030b I accidentally put in the wrong codes 5 times and now it won't unlock. This is the first time in history where I have goofed like this. (I usually always get the codes right) I read on their site that I need a cable to unlock my phone.
My question is what is this cable and where do I go to get it and how can I use it to reset my phone so that I can unlock it?
Thank you for your help.

Help me find the right phone!!!
I need a phone that will do the following:
1) Sync with my outlook calendar and email from work
2) Go online to read Facebook etc...
3) I do not need to download music etc..
4) I do not need to watch TV or Movies on the phone.
5) I need to be able to adjust the fonts to larger one as I have problems with vision
6) I am a heavy texter and it doesn't matter whether its a ful lkeyboard, querty or otherwise. If the phone is a touch screen, I need for the screen to respond to fingernail touchs vs. finger touchs.

Frustrated with Android!!!
First 2.2 turned the battery life to crap because no task killers work anymore. Eveyone that's gonna tell me task killers are bad might as well keep their comment to themselves, the fact is the battery life is better with one than with out. Now my phone gets so laggy tho its ridiculous. I can close every single app, and turn around and go back in 20 seconds later and there are 15 things starting up.
I'm sorry but if random ass programs starting up whenever they want without a way to close them and without some sort of option for the user to control that was done on purpose by Google, than that i...
