I'm buying one of these three phones, any input on what anyone thinks is the better of the three, and why???

I am just wondering if you need a service provider on the phone to make the features work like mp3, camera, bluetooth, video recording, and FM radio? I'm saying if you can just buy the phone and use the features but not to call anybody.
I know for SIM card phones you need a SIM card that works to operate the phone, but not so sure about CDMA phones.
I have an old LG that still works but has no service which means i cant make calls or go on brew or any of that stuff, but i had service on that and then i canceled.

Is there any software/hardware that would allow me to connect a Nokia with a Mac computer. I have a Treo 600 that works great with my Mac.

My wife is getting a 6820 and I would like to be able to link her new phone to my Mac. I think it will link to a PC.

Nokia has the 6822 on their website. This seems to be a T-Mobile handset unless it is a Europe/Asia model. Does anyone have any info on it? I hated the 6800 and wanted an unlocked 6820, but just never found one. The 6822 touts an "advanced" VGA (non-megapixel) camera, BlackBerry support, Bluetooth, and the switchblade design. If it's a T-Mobile device, than it is better than the 6820.

Nokia's new phones with the pop-ports won't work with their previous accessories!

I just got a Nokia 6200. It's pop-port adapter won't work my current Nokia Express Car Set handsfree speakerphone which has a 3 band headset/12 V power plug (that worked perfectly with my previous 8390).

I've spend hours on the phone with AT&T, Nokia and on the web trying to find a solution besides Nokia's $179 full car set.

Does anyone know where I can get an adapter to make this work, or an inexpensive car speakerphone setup that will work with the 6200's pop-port?

Hi, I have a nokia 6610 - one day it was sitting on my bed for two minutes, in the light from a window - I picked it up and saw that the screen was almost completely destroyed - a very large starburst of green, purple, red, blue, etc now covers almost the entire screen - I'm with tmobile and they say I will have to pay since this won't be covered by the warranty, but I say I did not damage it - has anyone ever seen this happen with this particular model, any nokia, or any other phone? I'm hoping to find evidence of other cases to show Tmobile.

Hey, what can i do with the DKU-5 data cable? I know about modem usage and phone book backup, etc, but what fun stuff can i do with it? Can i dl games, ringtones, etc?

I have some general questions before I buy this phone and hopefully one of you can help me. I wanted to know how to download mp3 ringtones onto it and what other features does it have that makes it special. I am switching from a moto V710 and from verizon to cingular because of the whole recall issue and their customer service. I have been waiting for 2 months for a "proper" replacement and they have had me waiting. Please get back to me. Thanx.

6820: Xtreme Wipeout 😲

I've been loving my Nokia 6820a since I got it just a month or so ago. But today out of the nowhere the phone will not turn on at all.
After a brief clear screen, in dim letters it says "Contact Service", and dies.
Bizarre, the phone is new, charged, did not get wet or bumped, just somehow met it's maker early.
Glad it is under warranty, and hope it doesn't zonk like that it the future... aside from this hopefully isolated incident, I still think it is a great phone.

Does anyone have any information whether the Nokia 3220 will be released in the USA? When? Thanks in advance 🙂

saw the news about Nokia's new CDMA cellphones that will be out mid-2005. any info if Verizon will be carrying those?

Does anyone know if these will be offered in the US and if so will Cingular have it?
