Has SE already addressed this with their new phones? Id love to hear that.

Id like to start out by saying that Im a huge SE fan and I wish I was wrong. I have spent several hours carefully examining this problem.

Am I the only person who uses my SE(w810)-with the wonderful "fast-port" connector for my headphones- more than occasionally- and had it fall apart? Ive ordered a replacement headset/adapter once already and it has failed. After being used for about...3 weeks. Now lets be honest- I use my phone as my mp3 player everyday. BUT its in a HARDcase in my pocket. I dont smash it, sit on it or bash it with hammers, but in all fairness, I am more than a "casual" user. hi, I just got a Sony Ericsson Z310a from Fido. I like it so far, but I downloaded an MP3 to use as a ringtone, from a ringtone website, and the phone won't let me use it. It will play it, and it sounds great, but I cant select it as a ringtone. When I try, it says "Cannot set this file as a ringtune." Does anyone know why? Like I said the phone will play the file, it's 234 kb, 30 secs long. I don't see why it won't, it's kind of annoying, is there a way it needs to be moved to a different file maybe? If anyone knows, I appreciate hearing about it...

i just want something to take with me other than my 8525

My wife and I both bought the w300i about a week ago. we both followed the instructions on charging before use. She gets 48 hours (with good signal) and mine was so bad I had to return it for a new one. This time I drained the battery all the way down and charged it 2.5 hours. I get two days of use. So far the battery has lasted less than my 2 year old LG c2000. We dont play games on the phone, I use bluetooth, 50% of the day and I have a one gig stick. I have been working in Kansas and had allot of no signals. Any ideas? My C2000 was non bluetooth and Im wondering if its a combination of bluetooth and lack of signal. That wouldn't explain my wife's issues though.

I don't understand why really cool phones like the M600i and the P1 don't have GSM 850. AT&T is the largest wireless phone network in the United States and it utilizes GSM 850!! What are you thinking Sony???? 👿

I don't get it. You have to carry "parts" around to connect a jack. YEah BT headphones and all that. But they will never sound as good as My ETY 4's or E-5s .

Does anyone know if there is any way to increase the volume to the W810i ear piece? I have it turned up all the way, but still cannot get it loud enough to hear when ambient noise is loud. In the past I was able to hack into my former Nokia and adjust registers to increase the volume.

I know this phone is not available in the US, but would I be able to buy it online to use in the US?

well the problem really is it reads it then eventually the phone doesnt see it no more and I have to do a master reset for it to see it again. I called sony they told me to format it and right now it sees it but if that doesnt work he suggested that my card might be bad. so I am going to borrow another duo card and try it out. If that doesnt work what should I do?

Well let me start by saying I don't like PDA, however, I want my Outlook Calendar, Contacts and Task on my phone without a camera. I work for a place that CAN'T have Cameras.
Did I mention the cameras suck?

I have been a Sony Ericsson customer since the T61 and all I have pay for is a data cable. Sony Ericsson has been know for its occasion Software glitches and firmware problems, however, they have been FAR above every manufacturer with the ability to SYNC your phone to Outlook.
