Why dont I see P990 in the SE section of
phonescoop??
Its been released for a while now

My previous phone had a feature that was beeping
each 30 min, I think, if a voice e-mail is received. This option could be set on or off.
Does Sony Ericsson Z520a has the same or similar
feature/option? I could not find a relevant
reference in the manual.

Has anyone taken an unlocked w810 and a cingular w810 to actually see what the differences are?

I am very curious. After seeing the cingular dummy phone for the w810i, I have been having second thoughts about waiting for the cingular branded w810's.

So the question becomes, yet again, Cingular branded? or Unlocked?

I'm looking at getting this phone and was wondering if it has an "airplane mode" so that it can be used a entertainment on a plane.

Does anyone know any of the drawbacks of this phone? I am interested in buying one. I previously had the w600 and the s710 and loved them both. Also what is a good website to buy phones at discounted prices? Thanks. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

i bet this question has been asked before-
why does sony ericsson no longer make any CDMA phones. i love some of their GSM phones but i have verizon so i can't use them.

I know the phone is no more, but does anyone know how to set up an email account with gmail on a w600?
I already have an account with gmail, but I'm not sure how to receive my messages on my handset.

$479 is steep, but I'm not suprised since it was just released. I'm thinkin in the next 2-3 weeks the price will drop to around $400 and stablize just like the K790i

My Phone: W800i
Platform: W800c
Firmware: I can't remember exactly, I think it is something like R1B002.

Problem: I turned off my phone. 6-7 hours later, when I tried to turn it on, it vibrated once and a white screen appeared.
Then everything just turned blank again. I took the memory card out, and plug the phone into the charger. Now the white
screen just keeps blinking. What is wrong with it? Firmware problem or hardware problem? What is the solution to this problem?

Is it possible to save a picture as a backround to the external screen?

This phone (not only mine!) drops between towers and has to be shut off and restart. I found this problem only with model. Anybody knows the solution? Updating the software, as recommended by Sony did not help.

Does anyone know if modification of SE phones is possible/practiced? I know Moto has an extensive modding community with some pretty cool and sophisticated stuff.

I don't want to do anything crazy, just skin my interface to look a bit different than it does now.

I know SE has some excellent themes for free...but I'd really like to design my own.

Any thoughts?
