i jus bought a new NEC 525 its unlocked and i have t-mobile service. but because the phone is at&t compatible i can't use the t-moible network. is there anyway around that? would i need to reprogram the phone, and if so how do i go about doin that?

A j2me program doesn't run on the NEC 341i because of the indexOf(String arg0, int arg1) method of the String class.

This method returns -1 when arg1 > whereas there are several occurences of the searched string.

The program runs fine on the mitsubishi 341i.

Please let me know wether anybody has had this problem. Is it fixed? May other nec phones have this problem?

I was curious if anyone here has heard of the NEC e232. I'm interested in this phone and want to know where I can purchase it. It looks like the NEC n700. It's a clamshell phone in the shape of the peanut. Any information is appreciated.
