Answering a Call?
Can you answer a call with the phone down or do you have to slide it up to talk to someone?

I have T-mobile SIM, but the display says Cingular
I got the phone today, installed my T-mobile SIM card and everything seems to be working. I am able to make calls and check voicemail, but the display on the phone says Cingular.
I go into the setup menu and selected "Network"-"My Network List" and all I see is T-mobile.
Any ideas??

MP3 Player.. what kind?
Hello all,
If there is anyone here that has purchased an unlocked version, I just wondering what kind of music player software is used. I bought a Slvr from eBay that came with the Moto Audio Player (or something like that) and it never worked very well. Choked on almost any mp3 I tried with it. It was java based I believe. The phone seemed to be a Chinese version.
Are the unlocked Rizr Z3's coming with the same player or is there new, stand-alone mp3 software.
Any help is appreciated- Cheers!

Is there an alarm clock?
I just ordered this phone on ebay and I was checking out the features on the phone, but there is no alarm clock listed. I'm not sure if there was an error or not. So, is there one? thanks in advance.

Question about Text Messages...
Hey guys, I bought this phone last week and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I was just wondering, when you receive a text message, does the LED light flash? Is there any kind of notification?
Also, is the clock problem easy to fix if it's an issue for me?

If you are looking for a fix for the clock....
Go to the motorola website for the Rizr, just google motorola rizr and the product page has a link to downloadable software updates. Download that install on your computer and link the phone to the computer with a USB or Bluetooth and the software willl recognize it and check for updates and then install the update for you.
The update will fix the clock and activate the screens feature among other things.

Price and Color for Tmobile
The price in the tmoble store was like $300 without contract and you can only get the BLUE one atleast for now. The Unlocked version is going for $200 in all 3 colors!!!!!!!!
If motorolas had good reception for GSM id get one in Black. But Motorola cant hold a candle to a Nokias ability to hold and get a strong signal!

no megapixel picture messages?
I tried this phone at the store today. Pretty nice phone. Felt good in my hands.
My problem is when I tested the camera. I sent pictures to my gmail account. When I when back to my computer to check them, the pictures were 400x300 (or 300x400). My old v600 produced 640x480 pictures!
Is this a deficiency of the phone? Is there anything I can do to get around this?

The RIZR, formerly known as Canary, is the slider device we have covered previously. The RIZR will eventually replace the PEBL, and sources report it will be an initial exclusive on T-Mobile. The Z3, unlike other Motorola offerings, does not have a CDMA counterpart. The Z3 will feature GSM/EDGE, and is the first Motorola phone to offer Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA).

Any way to disable the roaming feature...
I have t-mobile and wanted to know if there was anyone out there who had disabled the roaming feature on their phone. I checked out the available networks and didn't even find a t-mobile one on there. Is there anyone else who has had this problem?

how to put movie and mp3 in the phone
I just recently buy this phone and was wondering how do I put movie or mp3 in it. Is there a special program or something that I use to put mp3 and movie in it. Thank.

Has this phone been given a carrier yet? Its too damn expensive to buy as an unlocked phone. Ive seen it for $275, but thats absurd right now.
