Motorola RIZR Z3

I do not have this phone yet but i really want it for x-mas, and so here are a few questions for those who have this phone. Can you use your songs as ringtones? that would be cool. And can you answer the phone while its down not up?

I just got the phone yesterday and I love it the only problem is the phone will display INSERT SIM and it is not the Sim card because it will work fine in my RAZR does anybody know what the problem is I paid $300 and want this phone to work.

Just got the Z3 yesterday from an eBay auction. The phone works great, for the most part . . . the battery is still full on one charge.

However, I'm having a problem with text messages that have a picture attached. I've talked with Cingular (my carrier), and they don't know how to configure the phone since they don't offer it. I talked with Motorola, and they informed me the phone is an overseas phone, and they will not have the information to configure the phone in the US until it's debut. 😳

Does anyone have a way to configure this phone and the settings for Cingular.

Would anyone who has the phone be able to tell me about its text messaging capabilities? I've heard that it's hard to text on, but I'd like some more feedback. Thanks.

Does anyone know if Moto will make a CDMA version af the RIZR like they did with the KRZR and RAZR phones I was told by a sprint retention rep told me that they were going to release a phone called the RACR or something and I was curious if they were the same thing I really want a slider with bluetooth mp3 ringers and music playere but I dont like any of the models Sprint currently offers any help is appreciated thanks

If one of you that have the phone, is there a round plug in on the back (maybe underneath the battery door) that I can plug in my motorola signal booster? I appreciate it.

Just got the phone from my rep today. Cingular will not be picking this phone up.... EVER. But at least you can still use it on Cingular. I already tried the Cingular Video feature with my buddy and the video chat works great. Its so much fun walking around and seeing what your friend sees on the other side of the planet.

So standby time of 9 days, talk time of 200 minutes? What's up with that? It's lousy. I hope the phone's other features will make up for it's short-comings in talk time. Mobile Burn's article on this phone says that the speed of Motorola's UI is actually improving (starting with this phone). Anyone heard any other websites speak of a more definite release date?

i know its GSM but they did that with
the slvr and the krzr. They werent supposed to but sprint is now going to sell them.
I really want a slider...
