and it has no cd or memory card to it
do i need to get a memory card?
and if i plug in the cable how can i get the program to sync it?

I am able to put the files onto my sd card but they will not play on the phones music player and I keep getting an error unsupported file. Not sure if this is because I have itunes and itunes is my default music player on my cp or what. I don't think that would make a difference. The files still is labeled mp3. Can anyone out there help me?

Is there no key lock besides the auto one? Its quite irritating to wait for key lock if I decide not to call someone.

I'm just wondering if there are changable color schemes.

aftet i transferred mp3 through bluetooth, it would only let me use file as ALARM TONe and not RING Tone. Even after filename changes it would not. Anyone know what i should do?

Cingular also uses GSM so why isn't it available via them? I'm currently w/ Cingular and live in SE where coverage via T-Mo is spotty, so would prefer to stay where I am.
Is it possible to buy the T519 unlocked and get service via Cingular?

I bought an unlocked trace but have cingular and want to get rid of all tmobile logo, tzone etc.

I just downloaded gmail and it was placed in the My games folder (I can live with that I guess). When I try to run Gmail, it says it needs access to the network.

So I try to activate it by changing the permission on it (from options menu), but the Network access and Use network options are not scrollable left or right to enable them. They are disabled.


By the way, I also have a Nokia N80 and I was able to enable network access using the same Sim card, so it's a not being blocked by T-mobile.

Any ideas as to how I can enable it on this phone? I can't even move the app to another folder.

does anyone know if there is a way to have a vibrate and ring function and also a vibrate function for messages and also does anyone know how to stop the asscending ringtone and just make it normal

by the way this phone rocks i've had it for two weeks and love it i used to have a slvr before i switched to t-mobile and it doesn't even compare to this phone i used to have a razr before i changed to this (went through 3 👿 ) it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I just got this phone 4 days ago. I started playing the games that came pre-loaded as well as one I purchased and downloaded. After about 10 minutes of playing any game it loses the sound. It just doesn't lose the game sound it loses the ring tone sound also. This is the third phone t-mobile has given me. The first one that told me to remove the battery to get the sound back. It would not power back on. I took it back to the t-mobile store I bought it from. They tried a second phone and could not get it to power on. The third phone came on so I took it and left. Re-downloaded the same game and after 10 minutes the sound stops working again. If I power the phone off and back on it comes back. That gets very annoying to do all the time as I te...

Ok i got SD Memory card 1gb and its cool , but I still did not get it how to set my photos and videos to be saved to memory card first. Because if i take video it only allows me sometimes 30 seconds sometimes 2 minutes , but on i bet if that thing starts saving to SD memory then i could record more then half an hour, so please help me here ?

Hoping someone can help me out with these two minor annoyances with this phone.

1. In the sent messages directory, there is no current way to display WHEN the message was sent. I know the info is somewhere in the phone because you can sort by date - so is there a way to display that info? (Incoming saved messages have that info at the bottom of the message OR in properties - this is not available with sent messages.)

2. Incoming saved messages have a limit of 34(?). You can move messages to be saved on your phone one at a time (as long as they aren't pix messages). But is there any way to make the phone the default storage location for the messages (so I can have more than 34 at a time?

Thinking of buying this phone but I'm worried the data kit and usb cord won't work with my g5--read on the samsung site that the data kit is for PCs only. Does this mean that my only option is to buy a Mac bluetooth adapter to get mp3s on my phone? Does anyone have experience with this?

I looked at the Samsung Trace at the T-mobile store yesterday. Very nice, except I cannot believe Samsung did not include voice dial. Is this true? Apparently so..

The Samsung SGH-T519 (Trace) is a great phone. Have had it for a little over a month now and haven't had any major complaints except one. When in T9 text messaging mode you have the ability to add words to the phone's already extensive library. However, if for some reason you accidentally add a word you didn't want, there is no way to delete that added word or character.

That's why I am here! To give you all a little code to reset the device to factory default settings. This will erase EVERYTHING on the PHONE. Essentially it will go back to day one when you took the phone out of the T-mobile store.
