Stereo Headset
I'm trying to find out what phones have headsets that are compatible with a t629. I can't find a stereo headset that is specifically for the T629 and wanted to know what other phones use the same headset jack so I can find a compatible set.
Any ideas?

i think im just going to keep my t809
Im not too impressed with this t629
1.Black t809 > silver t629 (kinda reminds me of my razr been there done that)
2. b809igger screen w/t > smaller screen t629
3. from reading doesnt look like they fixed vibrate and ring. so its only fair for me to assume they havent fixed the ascending ringtone problem
4. so it has bluetooth headphones thats cool BUT it doesnt work (based upon my reading)
5. the t629 does come with a battery that last .7 hours longer.....*shrug*
looks like i'm just getting what i already have w/ smaller screen

how to install java games
I have a bunch of java games (.jar) on my desktop that I'd like to install on the t629. I copied them over to "Other Files" on my phone, which is apparently the only folder I can copy these files to. Has anybody an idea how to install these suckers now?

Does the T629 come with the Bossa Nova ringtone that the T809 has? Just wondering because it's my favorite, and I'm about to switch to the T629.

is the screen resolution really that bad?
I used to own the T809 then I traded it in for a Razr V3I. Now that the T629 came out a few months back I'm thinking about getting that phone. Though I see that a lot of people are saying that the screen resolution isn't nearly as good as the T809. Is it really that bad compared to the previous version? If it's not noticeable then I don't really care and just as long as it a much sharper screen than the Razr V3I anyway. Also, is the ringer on this phone louder than the T809? That's one of the main problems I hated about that phone. Thanks ๐

YALL HAVE NO SOUL!
*******THIS PHONE SUCKS I'LL TELL U WHY!**********
After reviewing most of the post on this forum about this phone I have to tell u guys not to get this phone. Especially if you already have a t809. You can flash the t809 to the original version of the phone and use it the way it was ment to be used.
Here's a short list of the benifits of flashing to the D820 which is the real version of the t809:
* Mp3 as ringtone support (no renaming needed)
* No Ascending ringer
* Vibrate and ring simultaneously
* Email client
* Change soft key functions
* Install non-signed java applications ie; opera mini, google maps etc.
* Unlock the phone (use on any carrier)
As you can see there are many benifits that address most of the issues you guys have about the t629. also, the t809/d820 hase 6...

Exit Silent Mode Sounds
When you hold down the # key to exit the silent mode, this horribly annoying tone plays. Is there anyway to silence this? I couldn't find anything in the sound settings to disable this. Is this just a part of the phone I have to get used to?
