I am having problems connecting to my computer through usb. It used to work all the time. Now wen i plug it into the computer it does not work. It still works on the samsung program though, but the screen doesn't go black saying "connected" like it usually does. does anyone know y this is happening?
Also, ring tones are not working. I used a program called "mp3 to ringtone" and made a ringtone then put it into my phone using windows media player. I could select it to be a ringtone there. Then I tried editing the song on the samsung program and put it on my phone using the program itself, and the song is not available as a ringtone. it is only 30 sec long. my friend who owns the samsung t809 which is very similar to this phone, says his ...

Yeah, I was having problems with my ring tones, too... I downloaded an mp3 cutter from www.yaosoft.com and it works great. Someone told me to keep it under 600k, so, I checked it out: I have one song at 602k and one at 590k. The 590k worked as a ring tone and the 602k did not. It's an mp3 cutter... so you just pick whatever part of the song you want as your ringtone (I normally cut only 30 seconds of the song...but has to be under 599 KBs). I like this, too because you're getting what part you want in the song to play as your ringtone... not the beginning of the song.

I've been fighting with it for days and found that, if you are using the Samsung PC Suite, you need to go on your phone to "Connectivity" on the menu and select "Select USB Mode". It needs to be set as "PC Studio" rather than the default setting of "Media Player." I fought with it for 3 days and figured it out this morning.
