Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607

Hi guys,

The official 6.0 ROM from AT&T was supposed to be out on 9/17. I don't see it anywhere on att.com. Any news on this?

Can someone please tell me how to transfer my contacts from my sim card to my phone?!??! I can't figure it out.....

I've found the WMP on the blackjack rather functional, but I'm upset about the sound quality. It seems the playback is all treble, not that I expect super-stereo, rock-your-face quality from such a small device. However, it seems like there is no bass line in any of the MP3s I have placed on the device, which sound excellent on my computer and ipod. The quality is definitely extremely poor. Is this normal for the BJ? Or could it be my headphone-to-blackjack adapter?

I just got the BlackJack and I am very satisfied. My only problem is that the silent setting disables sound but it vibrates. I like to keep my phone in my pocket at school and if a teacher hears it ring or vibrate, they have the right to take it away. Now on my old phone there was a vibrate setting and there was a complete silent setting. So if someone calls, it doesn't ring nor vibrate. Does this phone have this feature also? Thanks!

I'm not sure if my phone is defective, but when I try to make calls from it, it does nothing. It says there's no connection when I try to go to my email. And when I try to send a text message, it stays on that screen, no matter how many times I press SEND... does anyone know why this is happening?!

I've heard that there is a future release of the Blackjack coming toward the end of the year or start of '08. It's supposed to go up against the Moto Q9. Anybody know anything or hear anything?

I installed activesync 4.5 on my computer and whenever I connect my blackjack to it, it says it's not connected. Why is it saying that its not connected when it is. I know that the usb ports on my laptop are in working order and I know that I was firmly pluged into both the port on the side of the phone and the usb port, so what the hell. I've had the phone for a couple weeks now and I can't do anything with it. Can anyone help me with this?

Question...would you buy a Blackjack on Ebay? You can get a "new" one for about $100 less than at the AT&T store, but I'm a little leary as well...thoughts?

2.what does the newer version of the windows mobile do, and if i have vista can i stipp upgrade

3. how do i add themes and new apps to my phone

Steps

1. Download file (about 82 mbs)

2. Disable USB connect from Active Sync. (File, Connection Settings, Uncheck Allow USB connection)

3. Install Modem Drivers from original CD

4. Turn off BJ

5. Run Installer File

6. While phone is off, plug into computer via USB

7. Turn on phone using reflashing mode (hold down right soft key, camera side key and then hold down power button)

8. Installer file will detect phone and hit start.

i just updated to windows mobile 6 and updated active sync as required but active sync fails to connect to my phone.

need help! all of my contacts need to be re-uploaded to the phone!

I can't set ringtones to numbers unless the contacts are saved to my phone.... Most of all my contacts are saved to my sim card. So my questions is.....Is there a way I transfer all my contacts at one time to my phone?

is there anyway to add multiple contacts at one time instead of adding one by one in the text send area???

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to watch youtube videos on the samsung blackjack. Everytime I try to, it says I need the latest flash player. When I try to download the one through the link provided, my phone just freezes. Does anyone know a workaround for this, or am I unable to watch youtube on this type of device?

I just got the blackjack and I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up the speed-dial or if the phone even has speed dial, I just kind of assumed that it did.

I heard two different stories here
One person says, can go with 19.99$ media net 200 pkg
Second person says HAVE to go with Unlimited Data for 39.99$$

So after a little messing around, all the programs that they provide on that data disc are not useless after all. Use MEDIA WIZARD to back up virtually everything off your phone, contacts, SMS/MMS messages(i have some pretty saucy ones that are worth keeping). so yeah just thought i should share that. now i will go and see if it'll upload to another smartphone. i'll get to that in a few days.

Does anyone know what program to use that is semi simple to edit and create mp3 ringtones and how to sync outlook with the blackjack, im using WMDC 6.1 for vista thanks
