Is there any way to disable the sound when taking a picture? It is very distracting during lectures.

Hey, I am trying to set up my hotmail account in the xpress mail section. I've read instruction to launch Xpress mail on my device, chooce windows live mail and set up, but I am not seeing "Windows Live Mail" anywhere. Can someone please help.

Hi all! This is hopefully a simple question..

When people call, I have an image appear that I assigned to them.. unfortunately it's very very small. Is there any way to make it take up the entire screen?

ok so I jsut got the black jack maybe 2 weeks ago. I came from a w810 and i always got service in my house. Now with the black jack Im lucky if I get one bar. It takes forever for the phone to connect when calling someone. it says "dialing" for a loooong time. It seems like I dont receive half my calls. Another thing..doing simple tasks on the phone can become extremely confusing. something as simple as changing ringtone volume takes a million clicks. The navigation keys are way to cramped on the phone and i always end up exiting out of programs and going into the missed calls list and calling people whom I dont want to. I still havnt figured out how to set up speed dial. Surprisingly the one problem I havnt had a problem with is battery lif...

I transferred all my old cell phone contacts into the BJ and they worked fine. Then I had the Good link downloaded for my company email. It works fine, but the only contacts I can find are the Outlook ones, not my old phone contacts. None of my speed dials work, and can't seem to find a way to speed dial with the Good/Outlook contacts.

Any tips on how to get to the previous contacts?

Since I bought the 3125 6 days ago, and Best Buy ran out of them, I went for a Blackjack. A review shall come soon {I'll give it a while, as my 3125 went crazy on me shortly after writing my review}.

Everytime I try to download software for my blackjack, whether I do it on my computer and then send it to my blackjack, or if I download it from the blackjack itself, it never works. Either the CAB file won't run, or it will successfully install, but the program won't run. The only software that works is stuff that you download from the Cingular/AT&T mall. There's a lot of cool free software out there on the internet that says its compatible with WM5... so is it the Blackjack? I was so psyched when I got this phone so I would hope it is capable to run the software I want to run on it. Can anyone tell me what the problem is, and how to fix it if it is possible?

I own a Samsung Blackjack but don't run windows PCs.

I want to backup the internal contacts, calendar, documents, email settings etc. from the Blackjack to external San Disk MicroSD cards.

Has anyone done this before?

I synched with Outlook and ALL my 1000's of tasks (completed and incomplete) loaded into my Blackjack. Is there any way I can delete them en masse, rather than deleting them one at a time?

I have ordered this phone and I am very excited about it. I am definitely going to order some headphones so that I can listen to MP3's and am thinking about going the bluetooth route. I've never used bluetooth and my question is: Does using bluetooth deplete the battery much or am I better off getting a wired headset?

i'm lame i know, im planning on buying a high end phone and these are the features that matter to me haha but ill ask anyway. I had the Q before so i'm familiar with the OS but one thing i see different between samsungs and motorolas is there are more "fun" capabilities with motorola (ie my old samsung would not allow me to use my mp3 songs as a ringtone but my razr did)

couple questions any help would be awesome

1. Does it have picture caller ID? if it does it is large like the Q or a button like on the Samsung phones?

2. Could I use my mp3 songs as ringtones?

3. Extra question i just thought of: are there any restrictions on the bluetooth file transfers?

Is there a converter available that would change the blackjacks headphone/charger outlet into a standard headphone plug? I looked briefly on the internet and couldn't find one.

Before i upgraded my blackjack with the new software I could get all my email fine from AOL. Ever since the upgraded finished I can't get my email when i try to get it back on my phone. I've tried every different way and NOTHING works!!

Does anybody have this problem and how the heck do i fix it so i can get my mail?

Is there a way to have my blackjack alert me when I get an email through my gmail account? It is linked up, but I have to manually check my mail to see if I have any mail. Just wondering.

So after deciding over the bb curve and the blackjack i decided to go with the blackjack. A.)it was cheaper B.) it just seems better for my needs. Any way Cingular made me sign up for the 39,99 pda unlimited plan in order to get the phone for 75$$. When the phone comes and I have to call to activate it I'm going to ask to switch to the media net plan..wish me luck. Anyway my questions

+does this phone have aol instant messenger? and if it does..does it use the internet or take away from text messages? I would hope internet as AIM convos. can go on for hours.

+Do videos need to be converted or do they just play on the windows media player 10?

+this phone will work with windows vista right?

+Say I'm on myspace..can I upload pictur...

Hi all, just got my backjack and I am wondering how you add phone #'s from the call list to the contacts list... I have tried it several times and cannot seem to find the # afterward to add the contact name and such.

Any help in this area would be great!

okay i want this phone because it has the keyboard and im a big texter so the keyboard would be great to have. Any way I dont need any data plan except for the texting..but since its a pda mobile pc what ever phone do you have to get the data plan in order for it to work?
