$70, come on they price this over the razr and same price as a chocolate.. I was hoping it was going to be less, I was thinking about trying it out on one of my share lines but that seems a little crazy for the limitation this phone has.

Yeah, with the VGA camera (640x480), no EVDO, no mem card slot and whatnot, the 385 is definitely a basic phone, a stripped-down RAZR.
Yet they price it above the RAZR and the LG 8300, and same as the SLVR?

It's a stripped down krzr, and it's not VZW being stingy on the price, that's moto... their pricing sucks.

yeah and the krazr was selling for $50 bucks after rebate a week ago...this phone should be in a $30-40 price area or at most $50 bucks

When the Krzr first launched it was $200 with 2 yr contract. This thing will go down in price too... watch.

The prob with that is that the 385 isn't exactly a NEW phone all the way... its just another RAZR, this time at the entry-level.
I just don't think a RAZR re-hash justifies the high (for entry-level, which is what it is) price.
