Motorola W385

Almost up on my 30 day trial on the W385. Due to surgery on right arm, driving is difficult with the speaker phone not loud enough to counter the inside car noise. Nope, new car not affordable to resolve issue either. Sometimes even on speaker-phone I hold to ear while driving and can't hear enough to continue conversation. The strangest thing - it seems at times in same car(*7 the loudest it will go) I can hold and hear and not need speaker-phone... not sure if that is a issue like how sometimes you get dropped calls/cell will not work in certain area - but it does not seem to be area specific when it does that.
