Temporary World Access
If someone takes the 8830 and uses it domestically and does NOT select the 69.99 global plan and stays with their traditional Blackberry plan, what happens if you decide to travel to Europe or wherever and want to use the GPRS feature for 2 weeks.

Prior to going leaving the U.S. you need to change the domestic feature to the $64.99 global plan and order the support pack which includes the sim card and 24/7 help worldwide.
The world with Verizon is made easy it is broken down into two calling tears $1.29 per minute and $2.49 per minute that is making and rec calls world wide you leave your normal calling plan behind .
So now you have worldwide e-mail unlimited and calling per minute @ the above rates.
Once back in the U.S. change back to the $44.99 unlimited domestic Blackberry and use your normal Americas Choice minutes .

If I go overseas, is it a change of contract?
If I am there for 2 weeks, what do I have to do to get back to my old plan? Another change of contract/plan? Do I pay for just the 2 weeks of higher contract?
No one at the Verizon Stores seems to know.

You pay for the two weeks of the international feature only @ $64.99 , this has nothing to do with your plan then ask Verizon to move you back to the Domestic BlackBerry Feature @ $44.99 . Your changing a feature only this does not require a contract extension unless you have one of the three voice and data plans they offer which are domestic products only then Verizon has to move your plans around and that will require new contracts !
