when is alltel releasing this phone??
i played with the v9 in cingular yesterday and i loved it but i know the alltels verison will be way better

People are saying 9-13, but others are saying 10-13. Others are saying "no idea." There is no definite release date as of now. First upcoming speculated release date is 9-13.

I spoke to a friend of mine who works at an Alltel retail store and he said they had received and email specific to the V9. The email did not give an exact release date. It only said it would be available in stores by the end of the quarter (Which is October 1).

I just recieved a dummy RAZR2 handset in my store today, so I think the 13th is a lock for release date.
