Motorola Rapture VU30

Hey,

Anybody out there know how to change the two soft keys on a Motorola Rapture VU30? Not a word about that in the user manual - I want to change the left soft key from "message" to "recent calls"

😲 I found out that this phone uses LINUX S/W...


that is why BITPIM WILL NOT READ IT.

I cant get bitpim to see it, i downloaded the moto drivers, still no dice???

anyone flashed this one to cricket??

id like to do a full flash if you know the S/W settings for cricket let me know please.

I can't Vcast Music ID to work. The quality is horrible when it comes to sound recording.

On my LG8300 and noika 6205 I could e mail myself ringtones and save them as caller ID. I can't get this phone to do that. Any ideas?

I got to use this phone for an hour, and here is what I found:

PROS:
+Great looking phone (distinctive glossy blue)
+Large bright internal screen
+Updated Verizon UI (similar to Chocolate 3)
+Slick black theme modernizes the entire menu system
+Phone is very fast and responsive
+Same size as the W755 but better use of space
+Call quality is great & earpiece volume is good
+The touch button vibrations are strong
+Internal keypad is VERY responsive/easy to use
+Lightweight (weighs noticeably less than V3m)
+Manual external keypad lock avoids accidental presses
+Soft touch rubber on the back/ easy to hold
+Large clock on internal & external screen

CONS:
-Unable to read text messages or view missed calls on external scree...
