Apple iPhone 3G

Forgive me if this has been covered, but when a pic attachment is sent, is there a way to open the pic right there on the phone? I try to touch the link and log in, but the safari says "safari is unable to open". Thanks!

I need a phone primarily to recieve email.
At the store I was advised to get the iphone over the blackberry bold. I am afraid b/c I heard that there are hidden costs to getting the phone such as with billing, etc. The guy at the storm assured me that there weren't any, but I would like a second opinion. Has any one experienced any unexpected charges from usage of the iphone.

I am at a loss. I have had a Iphone 3g for a while now. I have traded it in for a replacement now three times. What seems to happen is whenever I get a call (although not EVERY time, just a decent amount) after the call is over I go to hang up and the screen is black and will not come back. Despite my best efforts it takes powering the unit down and back on to get it to end calls. With this being the third unit I can't seem to imagine that it is three faulty phones with exactly the same problem? Another symptom is that the phone will take pictures of nothing, AND pictures of its own screen (like a screen shot)

I finally got me a Iphone 3G. I still have my VZW line until I am sure I want to keep the Iphone but it has only been two days and I must say that so far I am really happy that I got it.

If anyone has any suggestions of applications or games I should try please let me know.

Has anyone heard what the next step is for the iPhone? I'm considering buying one, but I'd hate to do it and then a new version be released within a month or so (perhaps larger capacity?).

Also, I have one of the old Nation 1000 plans with 1000 Rollover minutes per month for 39.99 and I have no interest in changing that plan for an iPhone. I know with the first-gen iPhone, you could add data to an existing plan for $20. I had heard that you could do the same for the 3G version for $30. Still, I noticed that AT&T is marketing iPhone-specific rate plans now that include the data, but no actual separate data plan for those of us with old plans that we wish to keep with an iPhone. ok so lately everytime i connect my phone to itunes i get this message that says sim card does not seem to be supported. DUH my phone is unlocked and im using a t-mobile sim, and if i upgrade to the newest firmware i'll brick my phone. the problem is that i wanna delete videos and music off my phone and i cant because i cannot access it due to the message.

I have heard a lot of complaints about dropped calls, even in a strong coverage area. Is this true? I am with Verizon Wireless and am thinking of switching to an IPhone with ATT. I have had a few isolated calls with VZW, but not many. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I put some ring tones on my Iphone that I made and I can't find them in my settings on my phone.

BUT when I connect my iphone to my mac, Itunes can see that they are on my device in ring tones.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

I'm a little disappointed in. I'm hoping they will restyle it a little. Half the time I go to send an email I get an error message saying "the connection to the outgoing server "smtp.aol.com" failed." The other half of the time it takes a good 3-5 minutes to send.

The email syncing for receiving messages is a little crazy too. After having a blackberry and it's FANTASTIC push email, I'm underwhelmed by apple's email capabilities.

Not trolling whatsoever, almost everything else about this phone is spot on, but the email is definitely irritating.
