E71 or Bold
I'm a Nokia man but I really like the Blackberry Bold especially the larger screen size than the E71. I'm also concerned about those Blackberry "black-outs". Can someone do a comparison....I'm a little torn. 🙄

Can I use E71-3 on at&t's HSDPA?
E71-3 has 850/2100 HSDPA. Can I use it on at&t's HSDPA network? I think most of its HSDPA network in 850, but I am not sure.
Thanks

Everybody join hands...
Let's bow our heads.....and pray that Nokia & the carrier, show more support for this handset if any errors may arise with the firmware and/or hardware. Also let's hope that any carriers that pickup this phone do not assimilate(for u trekkies) the OS. Let's hope that this is a durable, solidly built phone that will last any length of contract extension I may sign with my carrier to acquire it at a decent price. As a sidenote let's hope it's covered by my carrier's insurance just in case. This seems to be a very solid phone, i'm a nokia fan(still rocking the granfather to the E71. The E62) anyway. This phone truly has it all. I'd hate to see it go the way of the dodo due to an issue as simple a necessary firmware upgrade. Amen

Release date
I was just in the Nokia NYC store and told the release date is next Friday. I'm not sure if that applies to web sales as well.

I want this smartphone bad!!!
I like the VGA display! I like the memory both RAM & ROM, and I like the 7.2mbps and especially HSUPA!!!
I just hope it doesn't cost too, too much when it becomes available tn purchase unlocked, I saw the Touch Pro at simoncells.com, there just isn't a price yet. It sure is a beautiful device, if only it had a 3.5mm headphone jack it'd be perfect!!!

I can't wait to see what LG has...
Also Samsung. They have some of the best working phones. And to see all the magic they are giving to Verizon, I would like the see what they have to offer to everyone else. (Not to mention what Motorola will do..)

T-Mobile Bold?
There have been rumors that T-Mobile won't be getting the Bold despite previous reports about one being made for them. Rich is that true?

Good TIming, Is the Fat Lady Singing?
Oh Baby-Doll, come to papa -- E71 is coming! Just when a new phone is in the plans. Been waiting for a solid bar S60 for USA for awhile. This one looks like it has it all; but not too much. Who needs anything more than a 3 Mega-pixel Camera? Because of cost, I may still get a Motorola Q9h, but I definitely would recommend this E71 over any other phone; in its original, non-ATT modified mode.
For me the question will be whether ATT picks up without screwing up the E71. They did not mess up the Motorola Q9h; so there is hope. All good smart-phones need to outsmart the carrier.
Opera Mobile will be on whatever phone I end up with. Which phone will really let that fat lady sing? So I guess any Blackberry Bold is out of the question f...

i must say this is a pretty sweet looking unit & being a Nokia & having S60, it is very appealing, but just wish they would've gone the extra bit & included all 3 3G bands, as it shows on Nokia's website, you can pick from 3 choices...

... :-(
...i understand that not everyone will need all freq.s but especially when one is spending beau coup $$ for a handset, its nice to have all the trimmings.
3G iPhone & BB Bold are interesting options as well, but as with everything they too have their limitations.
