Nokia 6340i

When I try to go to meeting or silent profiles the phone says normal activated. It was working previously but just stopped.

My fiancee and I are going on a cruise in early September. We are interested in the possibility of staying in touch with family members back home in the USA. We will be in the Mediterranean area (Barcelona, nice, Naples, Rome, Greece, Venice).
She has an old 6340i phone (not activated currently). Can this phone be used with an international calling card? (she has the SIM card for it, but it is a US SIM). If so, what are the best calling cards to get? GTE/AT&T/etc?

I am wondering if there is a software program like mobile phone tools for motorola to get my address book and contacts off the phone.

I have used the 6340i for about 1 year. Lately, the phone seems to turn itself off by itself. Anyone have a similar problem?????

Sorry I forgot to add that to my first thread. Has anyone out there heard when Cingular will discontinue the GAIT plans and, accordingly, the 6340i as a current phone?

Does anyone out there live in southern Missouri and have this phone under a Cingular GAIT plan? I'm currently under a TDMA plan and would like to upgrade but don't want to make a big mistake just for the sake of "wanting to do something", if you know what I mean.

I figure if you live in s. Missouri, you know what I mean about signal one minute, static the next, and dropped calls to follow. My TDMA 5160 phone is ancient but a good warrior. Does the 6340i measure up? I've read the user comments, but I'm just looking for someone close to home that may have experience with it.
