Does the Storm 2 have UMA enabled?

I currently use the BB 8900 on TMobile and a normal Verizon Motorola phone. With BB on TMobile I use UMA for WIFI calling, and I find it is essential for me when I travel outside the USA because those calls just count as minutes.

On Phone Scoop is says that they are identical in dimensions (14mm thin), but at the store the storm 2 felt thinner. Maybe it was just me.

how often do you have to pull the battery to reset the memory? My storm 1 is almost daily on os 5.0?

also...is teh second worth an upgrade from one? thanks

On the storm 2's that i have seen in the stores, there are 6 icons on the bottom. Is there a way to get rid of all or some of them so that the only thing showing on the main screen is the picture?

....texting and e-mail. How long did it take you to get used to it? I tried it in the store and it was difficult. I really want the STORM 2 though. Maybe it's just a learning curve for the touch screen???

I recently updated my Storm 1 OS to the 5.0.0.328 which had 1 HUGELY AWESOME feature. It gave you the ablity to control what emails that come to your phone go in the main message window and which do not.

I then turned around and bought the Storm 2 and gave my Storm 1 to an employee. The Storm 2 out of the box comes with OS 5.0.0.320 vs 5.0.0.328.

Guess what is missing????? That 1 feature.

Any suggestions? Verizon said I could kill my phone if I try putting Storm 1 OS on my Storm 2. I really want that feature. I have 3 email accounts coming to the Storm.

Does anyone know how powerful the processor is ?
I have searched everywhere - no luck - Is it possible that since it has the same OS as the new Bold 9700 that it also has a 624 processor ?

Those who upgraded from the Original Storm to the Storm2 might have found that all their DL themes suffered from white bars in the landscape mode. I found a fix for the problem at this link and it works! 🤤

I thought I had seen this posted, but could not find it. How do you, or are you able to transfer your contacts via back up assistance, or through the store via cable? Going from EnV Touch to Storm 2.

I have the Curve right now but am considering the Storm 2 or the Droid.

I have a Mac and have never used the software for the blackberry desktop manager. Can anyone tell me a little about it? Is it easy to use especially to save contacts and calendar??

I have Storm 1 and the new operating system is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I am loving it more and more everyday and I haven't had to do a battery pull since the new OS came out! Amazing, right?? lol

I'm still torn whether I should get the Storm 2 or not? Has anyone taken their Storm 2 overseas?? I fly around the globe a bunch and SO FAR my Storm has not let me down.

i know this is a dumb question but what exactly is threaded sms mean? i know that sms means text messages i just dont understand what "threaded" means thanks

Anybody run into any problems with BB App World? I'm trying to download and run the apps that I had loaded on S1, but keep getting error messages saying that the apps won't run on the S2.

Which of course is odd since I'm running OS 5.0.0.328 on my S1, so the apps should work on the S2 as well.

Any suggestions?
