BlackBerry Storm2 9550

When I try to scan a barcode to add a contact in bbm, my phone goes to the camera scren but no button to click to take the picture. Its just a view out the camera lens, but doesn't give me the option to take a picture? What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

What applications do you recommend as absolute must haves for the BB Storm 2?

Anyone know if Blackberry Storm2 will be introduced via Sprint?

Google released a Mobile App for the Storm, today, enabling searches by voice without the need for typing it in. It works by holding down the green send key and speaking the command.

The Google search is more convenient than using Bing or trying to type your command on the keyboard.

I was doing an upgrade to Poynt app. and phone locked up while installing. When I finally got phone to unlock, battery pull, all but 3 of my 12 or so apps were gone. Some of them were still in my Downloads folder, but the rest were gone, anyone else had this happen?

I have never heard of a carrier called Sasktel, but this is an official release for them. If anyone installs this, let me know if its ok.

I am seriously jealous of all the cool games that the other fruit company has available for it's phone so I downloaded one of the few OpenGL games (the only one?)for the Storm ...PBA Bowling2

Sorry if this is an old thread, but I couldn't seem to find any info. I am trying to transfer music that I copied from Pandora by way of Applian, when it synced with iTunes, it would not transfer any of those songs. Is there a way to get those songs on my phone? When they were copied the were put on the computer in Media Player, as well as my iTunes library, any held would be appreciated.

For the first time since I got my Blackberry, I'm going to another time zone. What's the best way to schedule my west coast appointments? Should I enter them using my present East Coast time and expect the phone to adjust everything to the network time zone when I get there?

I bought my Storm II in November. Soon after I switched to ATT. I have a barely used ZERO scratches Storm II that I have already broken my conttact with. If you want it with its slider hardshell case, car charger, home charger, and optional soft case I am willing to sell it as is with most of its warranty still in tack. Any questions please ask me.

I Need help, i'm Planning to buy a Blackberry Storm 9530 or 9550 i compared Both and their Almost similar, the few things that changed is the WiFi, and more speed. but i need somebody who can tell me witch one is better??? I Found a BB 9530 for $200 used. and a 9550 almost from $400 to 500 very expensive.....
other question i Have verizon and i have the data plan $29.99 why is important the WiFi??? ok thanks for your answers....

I have a Storm 1 and it's a good phone except for 1 thing... the internet. Accessing the internet is painful on this phone even with other browsers. I played with a Droid, internet is amazing by comparison.

Blackberry is terrific in so many ways and internet is not the most important function on my phone but it shouldn't be frustrating.

Should I upgrade to a Storm 2 or look for something else?

For those using the boring stock Zen theme, there is a plan B if you like. I found a very clean one, which works in landscape mode without the white bands problematic to so many versions running on 5.0. Its fast, has no memory leak and features sharp icons and a well designed home screen, as well as a small app memory bite (733kb).

Its FREE and brings a change of pace to the same ole, same ole look of our Storm2. Its a good thing to pick up a new phone once in a while (cosmetically of course) 😉

So thanks to my addiction to Blackberry, I stuck with the Storm this past year...though at times it was frustrating! Now there's a nice new OS for the Storm along with the release of the Storm 2. However, Verizon will also soon release Android, and now I'm torn! Do I stick with Blackberry and go with the Storm 2 or venture out into new territory with Android? What to do, what to do? I know Blackberry, but this new Android is looking pretty amazing! Is Blackberry in for some trouble?

Work is allowing me to get a new work phone. It will primarily be used for email, phone, and web browsing. How is the storm 2 for that.

sorta funny but annoying -

The # 3 key on the dialpad "sticks" - it squeals a few seconds and then releases...does this both in speaker and non-speaker mode. No other key does this. I do use "3" alot (but same for 2 and 1). Just started this.

Q) Software of hardware issue?

Q) Only solution is to get another device (again)? I was hoping BB could just fix it somehow.
