T-Mobile software on Cingular v600?

Since everyone keeps claiming that T-Mobile worked out a lot of bugs in the v600, above and beyond the Cingular version of the v600, I am wondering a couple of things:

1. Does anyone know what the bug fixes were specifically?

2. Can I upgrade the software on my Cingular v600 to get all the "benefits" of the T-Mobile fixes?

3. If so, how do I do that? By the way, would this be an upgrade of the flex, the software or the dsp software? Also, if I get this done will my phone say T-Mobile when it starts up? Will it become subsidy locked to T-Mobile? Will it still work on Cingular?

v600 series 1 or 2

i was told by the retailer that theres 2 series of the v600.. is that true?

according to them, the v600 with "v600" under the numpad is series 1, and without is series 2

and supposely series 2 is better than 1

T-Mobile will likely be getting the V600

T-Mobile mgrs in my area are expecting to start selling the V600 in a few months.

Unlocking help please

🙄 Heya all I need some help unlocking a couple of v600's , whats the best way to do this (preferably for free)

I currently have 1 x usb datacable for this product .....

Could someone link me to some software/ solution

(have tried searching but am getting nowhere!))

its a brand new v600 unlocked and includes the complete motorola pc connectivity pack. with usb cable... im askn $300 firm. i just payed over 400 bucks for all this stuff and i just bought another phone that interests me.. u know how it is...

release to stores?

ive been waiting to see this phone up close to decide if i want it or the samsung slider so when i heard it was being released i automatically assumed it was coming to stores but when i called they told me hopefully in sept. is this true? if you want to buy are there other stores that carry it or only online?

TMOBILE...GET MORE? How 'bout an HS810

Just got off phone w/ cust. service and they're offering the V600 by itself or packaged with the HS810 bluetooth headset. Cool deal.

Don't think AT&T/Cingular offered it, did they?

V620 ?

Is the V620 just a software upgrade and a new color scheme or are there any actual hardware improvements. If it is just software, can we flash our v600's to get the video capture?

V600 T-Mobile Launch Date Pushed Back to SEPTEMBER

They have pushed the launch date all the way back to september no because of faulty flex versions and small preventable errors.

New ATT GSM Customer with v600 = very bad sound quality

Just signed up with att gsm 2 days ago and got the moto v600. I have used this phone in dallas, atlanta airport, and central florida, and it has a very bad sound quality.

The calls are not dropping, but it is just sounds like i am in a tunnel or away from the phone when the other person hears me

what could it be? bad phone? bad setting? need updating? or this is what att gsm sounds like?

NEW INFO RE-TMOBILE AND TRI BAND. ETC

Ok, so I got my V600 back in March unlocked and unbranded.

Well just got my phone back from Moto service center b/c the camera took a dump on me and they changed my phone totally. Same body, but they made it a triband, and locked it now to TMobile.

Also got extra perks....my phone came back with someone else's phonebook in it (not sim but data from someone's sim uploaded onto the phone's contact list).

Got some porno pics in my picture folder as well as gangsta rap ringtones uploaded.

THANKS MOTO for trashing my phone.

How big can the MP3 filesize be?

I know it can convert MP3 into ringtones..but how big of a file size?

V600: Change The External Display to Show: DATE & TIME

Hello Out There,

On the v60i (v600 predecessor), there are DATE and TIME on its external display. It was so convenient for me, instead of flipping it open to see them. Please, anyone, help me figure out how to change it on my v600, if this is possible. Appreciate it.

on the front of the fone some ppl are saying the black it chiping is that on every ones or just on some of the originals or what????
