HTC Droid Incredible

is there any way to stop this from running all the time or better yet delete it ?

Ok so I've been all over the settings on heptic feedback when pushing certain UI interactions but when testing I hate how it vibrates on every letter you push while testing...I came from Droid Eris where u have settings from keyboard but can't find it on my incredible....anyone know how to fix this?? I'm sure its simple I just can't seem to find it....thanks in advance

After getting the 2.2 update i have been having a problem one of my email account . I have 5 on my phone and since update one of the emails is is being deleted without me doing this . They are there and when i go back to check again there gone ? this is only happing in one email account . any one having this problem or know why its happening ? also i have deleted and added this account back 2 times with same results .

does it seem that the battery dies quicker after updating to 2.2 ? I have the extended 3500 battery and it lasted 3 to 4 days before update but since it is at 50% after limited use . anyone know why or having same thing happen to them

So i got my own ringtones to the phone, but how do I save my custom notification tones? The ones I send to the phone only show up in the "ringtone" section. Since the "notification tone" section is different, I can't seem to add anything there.

Is this not possible?

Is there anyway to increase the volume on the ringer or increase the intensity of the vibe mode? I have a hard time hearing the phone ring in the car or if I put the phone in a pants pocket. Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone else have a problem using the Google Voice commands to send text Messages? I updated the Google voice through the Market, but when I say as an example:

"Send Text to Mom, Meet me at the store"

It leaves the "To:" field blank, and it does this for other people in my contact list as well, its kind of pot luck as to which ones it will fill in and which ones it won't. Anyone else having this problem? andyone know how to fix it?

Does anyone know how to check if you have Flash on your HTC Incredible? You knowlike, under setting or something that physically shows that it is installed. I did a manuel upgrade to Froyo as I could not wait for the OTA. I am a lil Parnoid if I did it right? Can anyone help?

So I just switched from the Samsung Vibrant from Tmobile to the HTC Incrdible...I LOVE THIS PHONE! Buttttttt coming from Samsung I got so used to the swype....


Does anyone know if I can get swype on the Incredible? 🙄

So I bought this phone off eBay and it was reset to factory defaults when I got it, so I activated it yesterday and have been using it. I plugged it into my computer and started browsing folders on it. Well I found some "explicit" pictures on there. It looks like cache or temp internet files you get from browsing the web. So I am flipping out, wondering what else is on this phone. I was on the phone with Verizon for about 45 minutes, talking to 2 different techs, and they had me do a factory reset (again) which is supposed to erase everything off the phone and they're still there! They had me clear cache, browsing history, etc but they were still there!

Now I know I can just delete them through Windows Explorer when browsing the folders, ...

Just got my Incredible a couple of days ago:

1. Is there a way to put the Apps in alphabetical order, so I don't have to go through the entire list looking for the one I want.

2. When my office email appears in my mail program, is there a way to delete the entire bunch instead of one at a time?

ugg.. aside from a few other critical annoyances, today my phone started rebooting in a continuous loop. Turn on and see white THC screen, then goes to animated VW screen and then starts over. Its been doing it for the last 30 mins non-stop.

earlier today i noticed a warning message on the phone saying phone low on storage. But i had about 7GB of free space.

i see posts for both of these things all over the net but no definitive answer/solution. Can anyone help?

I really want the Incredible, but I'm not eligible to upgrade until late January - does anyone know if this phone will still be available then? I currently have the Motorola Droid, and while it's a great phone I really like the Incredible better (my husband has it so I get to play with it). I thought I would need the slide out keyboard on the Moto but I never use it - I actually find the on screen keyboard easier to use. When I got my Moto Droid it was before anyone knew the Incredible was coming out, and once it was announced, I was beyond my 30-day return period.

Has anyone ever had their voice completely changed by this phone? My sister just called me and it freaked me out. She sounded like a man disguising his voice in a horror movie phone call. I know it was her because I asked some questions that only she would know the answer to. This same phone makes random phone calls.

She was going to reboot it and see if that helped. Any suggestions as to what it could be? She is going to try and make it to a store tonight.

Does anyone know how to change the text settings so that when you get a text it doesnt automattically open and view it? I want it to just say i have a new text from whoever but have the option to open it to read it...thanks!
