HTC Droid Incredible

Do not update. This 2.3.4 update and the HTC Droid Incredible has a fatal flaw. HTC said they know about it and are working on a fix. ETA unkmown. The update makes your phone stop syncing , no text messages,unable to update because phone thinks storage is full on both phone memory and SD card.

Verizons solution. upgrade phone.

Is this going to get Gingerbread? Or is the muffin man taking over?... 🤣

I'm considering getting this phone and I'd like to know what version of Android and Sense UI it ships with? I read that it was updated to Android 2.2 has been promised 2.3, is that correct? Does it comes with the latest Sense UI and if not will that be offered "over the air" as well? TIA

when a call is received and the screen is locked, more often than not i'm not able to swipe the screen to answer the call. i've tried holding the phone in different positions, and swiping down from everywhere on the screen but to no avail. i don't have any third-party apps. anybody else have this problem or have a fix? thanks.

the phone will die overnight in sleep mode..why.. I changed all the settings and put it in airplane mode, why should I have to do that?? the phone is nice tho 😕

I have a message on my phone thats says low on space applacation data space is low . I checked my storage and i have plenty of free space on card and on phone . this is the second time this has happened i did a factory reset last time and it went away but came back up again . can anyone help ?

My phone overheats and gets in a shutdown reboot loop when using GPS. It did this while plugged into car charger. I concluded it was overcharging. Today I tried using GPS without charger. There was direct sun hitting the screen (I'm in Florida). It soon shut down and got in the Terrible Loop. I've read a lot about this online and there are many different experiences and views. The phone does not do this inside the house with a wall charger.
Does anyone know if Verizon has a definitive answer for this. I've read of other customers with this problem getting replacement phones that do the same thing.
I checked on getting a Garvin navigation system and read they also can overheat and shutdown.
Any info and advice are appreciated.

Does any know how to set it so that when I delete a message from my phone it does not delete it from the actual GMAIL server? I know on my old Iphone there was a setting in mail on the phone but I can not seem to find the same thing on the HTC. I want to be able to delete from my phone but not have delete from the online view. Thank you

Can anyone tell me how to save pictures ive taken to the SD Card. I have taken many pictures and they are in the Gallery. All of them show up under 'All photos' under Albums. There are a few under Phone storage and one under 'SD Card', but how it got there I have no idea. When I try to download them to my computer I only see the 1 under SD Card, but have 133 under All photos. With my old phone, the 'Dare', I just chose menu and it gave an option to 'Move' and I could move them back an forth from the phone storage to the SD card just by selecting them. Please help?

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the font size of text messages? 😳 Would be great if the text was just a bit larger.....

I jacked up my phone!! I can no londer Link my Facebook to my cell or to my own contact card. I can only link Facebook for HTC Sense.
I go to setting and accounts & Sync, I click on add account and when I touch the Facebook option it does nothing won't let me link it. anyone else had this problem? Any idea on how to fix?
