HTC Droid Incredible

what is the best way to put videos on the phone? what file do they need to be, and do they have to be on the memory card or can they be on the phone memory?

I really hate to sign a new contract with these guys. Someone talk me out of upgrading my XV6900 to an Incredible. I've had this upgrade available since 2007.

So it's out for the EVO. How about our phone? Anyone have an official release date? 🤨

anyone else having this problem of phone going in and out during a call ? store told me it was a software issue and an update was coming . anyone else heard this ?

For my HTC Incredible, I purchased and received late yesterday, the Seidio 3500mAh Extended Battery from Amazon.com. ($49.99)
Charged it as recommended, 8 hours. (overnight)
Put it into action 6:30am this morning. I've been using it all day today; heavy use. It is barely down to about 90%.
The next several days and a few re-charges will paint the real world picture.
So far, as expected, it exceeds the standard 1300mAh battery and I have no desire to go back to that.
Yes, there's a little more bulk and sight increase in weight with the Extended Battery but the performance should mute those issues. The Extended Battery comes with replacement rear cover (Black) which I find to be very nice. Easy to grip.

So, I have the droid x and I really like it. The size is great to use but not great to have in your pocket. I am afraid if I return it and get an incredible I will miss the big screen but love the ease of storage. It really is a tough call. I do not have any issues with the x other than all of the apps it comes with that you CANNOT delete. I hate that. Its like buying a shirt with the companies logo on it. I was not paid to advertise for them.... LOL

Are there any settings that will allow area code to be highlighted so that when the telephone number is clicked on, the phone will dial the entire telephone number including the area code?

from phone memory to SD card? My phone wont upload my new picst to my computer because there on the phone memory i believe! please help!

Does anyone know of an APP that lets you place a picture as wallpaper so it that covers all of my Incredibles screen? instead of me having to crop my picture? It's annoyinh that I cant place a full picture as my wall paper I always have to crop it.

Also.. I recieved a Spread sheet document(Excel) through an E-mail and I accidently saved it to my cell. Now I cant find it in order to delete it? Anyone have any ideas on where it might be? and how I can delete it?

When I was browsing the web on my phone last night it reset the page to google.com. I was on facebook. Anyone else have this issue before? I'm afraid a VZW tech would not be able to replicate the issue. 😡

Does anyone know how to clear the search information in the Android market search bar? Like when you manuelly type in the name of an App.. is there a way to clear all of my past searches?

Im seriously considering getting the new Droid X. At first i thought it would be too big but i went to a sprint store to see the evo cause its similar in size to the X(the X is slightly taller,same width but lighter)and i fell in love with the huge screen. I really dont mind the size especially since the X is actually thinner then my Incredible. I also like the motorola build quality and all reviews love it. Give me your opinions....thanks

This seems CRAZY to me but i can NOT find a way to MARK ALL AS READ in my pop3 email account that i have set up on the Incredible. I have to go through all 50 emails and read them manually in order to clear the green. what a pain. Am i missing it? please advise.

Just wondering how sturdy / scratch prone the incredible has been for you guys. I've been looking at cases online, but can't really tell how good quality they are. Do you have any that you prefer? Plastic or Silicone? Looking for something that will hold up, but not -too- overly bulky. Was thinking of picking up some cases (have 2 Incredibles due to arrive Monday) and some Bodyguardz screen protectors, as at least those I've liked in the past.

Any other must haves you guys think for the Incred?

I have had me Incredible for just a couple of days now. Im still getting used to it. Went from a Palm Pre to the Incredible. Can any one help me with 2 questions I have?

1) How do you turn down the volume of the keypad when dailing a number to call someone? I tried looking but cant find it. It's so oud almost like if its on Speaker.

2) Does anyone know where I can find the "Droid" ringtone that the original droid has? Like the one where the robotic voice says "Droid" ? I would Love to have this as my SMS/MMS ring tone.
