Kyocera SE47 / SE44 / V5 (Slider)
Multi segment messages
First of all, the manual (last para of pg21) states that if you continue to enter text after the counter reaches 0 a message segment may be appended.
I called my service provider BEFORE I purchased this phone as they have a shorter than average 120 characters per sms. So, I wanted to make sure multi-segmenting was poss. I was told that it depends on the phone itself. However, once I got the phone, it would NOT progress beyond the 120chars (ie. beyond 0).
Now, I'm in the process of chasing Kyocera and my service provider to find out which one is causing the limitation... it may be an oversight in the Slider's programming. Otherwise I'll shoot my service provider.
Anyway, I will get back to you when I get some answers.
