Now if they could only release another versioin with an actual physical keyboard, that would be another great hit!
...
It was my understanding that Android 4.0 will not support any physical keyboards.
...
ow..i was actually thinking about an HTC EVO shift 4g LTE..
...
Why not? I'm typing this on the keyboard dock of my Asus Transformer Prime running Android 4.0.3.
...
it's a keyboard dock my friend...so it's different..but i still believe ics will support physical keyboards on the actual device in the future.
...
The problem with keyboards is it makes the phone allot thicker.
...
But it also makes them a lot more usable lol- I have yet to find a softkeyboard that works well for a heavy texter and we're finding more and more of our customers and suppliers want to do text messaging esp w/the advent of Long Codes. It's pretty unbelievable that no one is really making any new phones w/a physical kbd- esp for Android. Once RIM is gone- there's going to be a big hole here.
