Samsung SGH-E715

I know that this phone cannot have different ringers for each person. It can however, have different ringtones for different groups. I went to phonebook- group edit- picked one and assigned a ringtone to the group. I put people in the group, but when they call it does not have a different ringtone, it is the same as all my others. Does the number HAVE to be stored on the phone (mine are all on sim right now) or is there something i missed or did wrong?

Is there a way to set the E715 to have a reminder tone when you get a SMS ? I previously had a Motorola V300 and it had an option for a reminder tone when you get a SMS. It would beep every 5 minutes or so until you acknowledge the message.

Does anyone have any issues with this E715 phone? My color display is looking funny... it looks like it's fading and there are all these fading hirzontal lines going across the screen...

I have an extra Nokia 6600 and im willing to trade for a E715. This nokia 6600 is in exelent codition. I have never used the phone. No this is not a stolen phone. My GF didn't like the phone so I got an extra one and she wants a E715.

i was just wondering what kinda battery life any of u guys get. just got mine a few days ago and though i'm still conditioning my battery its only lasting about a day and was wondering what i could expect. i use about 1600 minutes a month. thanks.

I know I can send wav files to my phone using e-mail. But so far I can only save them as sounds. Anyone know how I can use them as ring tones?

if you want to change the contact position number (from mobile, to home, etc), you can do it ONLY with the data cable and easyGPRS and you can do it in there.....for those who did not know or were complaining about that, i hope that helps people that did not already know about this, and if anyone wants to get the OEM data cable cheap....do it EBAY, $15 will get you an OEM cable w/ CD, and if you have an older version of the software just make sure you update the software thru the easyGPRS update

Does anyone know how to download pictures that I took on my E715 and download them to my computer? I bought the software and cable to connect my PC to my phone but I can't find the instructions how to move pictures from the phone to the PC. How would I go about trying to print a picture that I took on my phone?

I've searched and searched but I cannot find a good site that provides voice MMF files, plenty of MP3 but not MMF, anyone know of any?? if so that would be great 😁
