Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE
Sync Problems
My new Casio C811 Commando will not "sync" with my 2012 Ford F250 pickup. The Verizon dealer tried two other phones, a Windows 8 and a Motorola; both synced flawlessly. We then tried my phone in his Ford F150; the sync also failed.
Apparently something is wrong with the software in the new phone to make it compatible with Ford's Sync system. We called Casio but received no assistance.

C811 Wireless Connectivity Issues
I have the C811 and have had nothing but problems with it. The microphone and speaker setup is too low in volume so that the voice command had constant problems. I returned the first one and the replacement has wireless connectivity problems with certain routers (my netgear WNDR3700 especially). This phone uses Android 4.0.4 JellyBean and the net is filled with forums that complain about the wireless connectivity issues. Oddly, the Verizon Forums do not mention word one about the wireless connectivity issue. But there's plenty on the following posting:

I guess the fact that this new model appears to have no PTT button says a lot about Verizon's intentions WRT PTT service.

I am really hoping for a great phone here.
I Am really hoping for a great phone here. the c711 was a decent option for taking on trips but i hope this new phone will have some nice features. I love nice phones like the gs3 but theres a certain cool factor to having a smart phone that is "rugged". I the "accidental" drop into the lake was priceless.... hopefully they put at least ICS and some decent hardware into this.
