Could this be done?
Just a general question: If I want to retract a 4 minute conversation I had on my cell phone (MaxxHD Android) about a year ago and on a particular date and time without going through all the legal MomboJombo, is that possible? Does these things have intelligence to do that?

XXX-LTE
I'd be more impressed if they started rolling out Band 5 850 and Band 2 1900 LTE in addition to the Band 4 AWS. It'd save their crews a couple more trips out to the towers.
Maybe when those two are complete, they'll be calling it XXX-LTE.

Speaker phone
How is the volume and clarity when using the speaker phone. Is it a true full duplex speaker phone?

Motorola - Idiots.
With google owning them they should have taken over by now. They have the best radios / reception / build quality in general, but they are mentally ill about updating their expensive phones.
But instead of flooding the google play store with unlocked stock devices with no crapware at a great price, they continue to suck-off losers like Veriscum, losers that lock phones and losers that charge confiscatory rates for international roaming. Losers.
And this rubbish with lines of phones that are Vz exclusive, how lame.
Yawn at motorola, get off the bench and start winning again with google behind you and UPDATE YOUR PHONES to 4.4 and STOP BEING A WHIMP.

Does the motorola droid maxxx have gorilla glass
Meh
😡 Just tried it out at the Verizon store. Same as the prior model, loaded with bloatware (92 apps pre-installed, many were bloat) and goes for $299 on contract. Def pass on it

Memory Card Slot
Why did Motorola not include a memory card slot?

Please tell me for once mobile hotspot works on these new moto devices?
I've owned the RAZR, RAZR MAXX and RAZR MAXX HD and not one of them functioned properly with mobile hotspot. Devices could connect to them every time, but couldn't connect to the internet / transfer data most of the time and if they could, usually it was so slow it was unusable. Maybe 15%-20% of the time it functioned properly, the other 80%, useless.
I'm REALLY hoping this has been fixed in the new line of Moto's. I can't believe it's gone on for so long without a fix.
And it wasn't just my moto devices, I have friends and family with these devices as well, tried it on theirs; same problem.

Motorola is going the way of BlackBerry
What is this
-No SD cards
-No quad-core processor
What are they doing over there, the apps that are popular will eat a dual-core alive. I am insulted that they put in their specs dual-core ( quad-core graphics) its a con it doesnt matter what the gpu is if the cpu cant handle the load.

No MicroSD?!
Do none of these phones have a MicroSD slot? That is a deal-breaker for me as I enjoy having a 64 gig card in my phone. Also would have been REALLY nice to see a Droid 5 finally, just take the Mini and stick a nice qwerty on it, Moto!

Where is my Droid 5 ???
I have been waiting for the Droid 4 update almost 2 years! I need better quality display, Android 4.2 (or 4.3), faster processor, longer battery life, and more.
So is that the end of physical keyboard smartphones? Come on, Motorola!!!

Question for Rich.
Hi Rich,
I currently have the Droid RAZR Maxx HD (I love it.) and I'm due for an upgrade in October.
In your professional opinion, do you think the new Droid Maxx is worth it to upgrade over the RAZR Maxx HD from 2012 or am I better off just sticking to my current Maxx HD and saving the 300?
Thanks!

That was quick
If you're wondering why the liveblog was so quick and short, it's because the presenters seemed to think the press conference was some kind of race. It was hard to keep up. It was also completely over in just five minutes! Most companies take 30 minutes to intro one phone. Not these guys. Whew!

Droid Maxx Usable Memory
How much actual usable memory is available on the 3 models? I'm assuming that it's less than 16GB and 32GB.
