what do I need?
Hello,
Does anyone know of a good data cable for this phone that also comes with a good software program. I want the cable to be able to transfer ringers, pictures, and phone book information from puter to phone.
If anyone has any good ones out there, please let me know and where to get them. I don't need it so I can connect to my puter when I am away from home, just to transfer information from puter to phone..

try ebay. search for vx7000 usb cables. very cheap and work good. i got mine for like 9 bucks and it came with a cd loaded with al the software and stuff.

I also got my data cable from e-bay for the 7000 . once u get the cable go to this yahoo group there are some mp3 ringtones on it and instruction to use the program bitpim.
