Kyocera Koi KX2

This is advice that all Agents, and non-Kyocera Certified Techs should take,, DO NOT OPEN THE "Koi", it is terriably complicated and should not be opened by some one who has not read every page of the 48 page disasemble manuel, and im being seriuos about 48 pages, it is very complicated and there are several parts that will come flying out at you if ypou are not carefull, and beside it will VIOD your warrenty.

Ok Guys- Ive confirmed that Verizon now has the Kyocera Koi in stock for there release date of Nov 22. Now here is my question ive asked before Where are the USCC shipments that will ensure In stock for Nov 24. Also what about teh V262 that was to release on Nov 17 or the Nokia 6019 from Nov 12.... Is something going on im not aware of?? whats the deal with our phones..Does anyone have the first shipment of any of these phones? Fill me in please!

I called my nearest Verizon store today. They have a full box of the phone and it is going to be available when the store opens tomorrow. They will have the silver color phone and it will cost $199 on a 2 year plan.

Is 24th still the day or has it been changed.
Also how much is it gonna be retail.

It was at the Verizon kiosk at Circuit City in central NJ yesterday. Didn't notice prices because I was not interested in the phone. Very quick first impression: huge phone, very dull screen, awkward to open.

isn't nebody worried about the outer screen at all...or how loose and flimzy this phone will get after a while. (im sure everyone who owned a slider knows what im talking about). The screen on the outside doesnt stay protected for long, and since it's on the oustside it gets a little greasy or grimy sometimes. An also after so swivels on the phone...its bound to become loose. But im glad they decided to make a cover for the camera lens....thats pretty cool.

This phone seems like it is designed for southpaws 😕 . It twists open to the right making it very hard to open with just your right hand ☹️ , but quite simple with your left. This was very poor design on kyo's end (unless you are left handed then it's great).

I read a post about a month ago that the koi would be available for virgin mobile, is this true or not

I work for an Authorized Agent of Verizon and we were told it is available November 22 for $249 w/ 2 year & $299 w/ 1 year! It has NO bluetooth but has a "unique" design and 1.2 megapixel camera. Remember the last phone VZW released with such features?! It also doesn't have Voice Command but rather old fashioned voice activated, we don't use that anymore! Anyway, it's a Kyocera. It also feels cheap and the screen is very exposed! Not good!!!

Sorry if this has already been brought up...

I work for VZW in Michigan and I recently was visited by 3 Kyo Reps that each had a Koi. After playing with the phone and making a few calls, it seemed to work fine. It doesn't seem flemsy like I was expecting. One of the reps informed me that it is in testing and will be released in the Fall of this year. I'm hoping that it will be an intro phone but I really don't care about the price, I'm definitely getting it. Kyocera makes one of the best phones ever. I have a 7135 and a 414 and they both rock. The slider has been a good phone for us but the buttons were to small for me although my co-worker loves the button size. Believe me, this will be one of the best Kyo phones yet. Hopefully we will get the SoHo to but the Kyo reps had no idea if t...
